Nope, sorry, can't do that, Scotland rebelled and I just bought all of Canada from the British, bought all the French owned landed in North America, conquered all the Native American land, Mexico, and Panama, oh and I bought Florida from the Spainish. As the USA.
You must have a lot of money.
*cough* cheats *cough*
It apparantley though doesn't utilise dual cores.
That's why it works pretty bad on my pc :( Hope they will add this with a patch.
That's why it works pretty bad on my pc :( Hope they will add this with a patch.
Yep, i'm totally screwed in the ass until this uses dual core. Really annoying to have a game you can't play due to inconsiderate coding >:C
Yeah I can play it on low settings and it looks fucking horrible :( I just want that the game is optimized with patches. I made a thread about this in the steam forums and the people says it already supports dual core???
It apparantley though doesn't utilise dual cores.
On this note, people have reported that a lot of crashes have stopped after modifying core affinities, which i believe means forcing your computer to only use one of your cores.
On this note, people have reported that a lot of crashes have stopped after modifying core affinities, which i believe means forcing your computer to only use one of your cores.
This problem shouldn't have even existed in the first place.
This problem shouldn't have even existed in the first place.
No argument from me, but I see little point in getting angry about it and saying "I'll never buy a CA game again!" It'll be fixed when it's fixed. The people on the official TW forums that are crying and saying that CA are demons and that the franchise is over because the game is so buggy and that customers will never trust CA again are just being extremely naive and are overreacting.
Yeah, I saw some threads where people went rage and batshit insane, the game is huge I better wait until the patch gets released.
Has the all factions unlocker been posted here yet?
Yes. http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=234251 For Custom Battles: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=234011
Any workaround found for the natives sapping the framerate when you look at them?
Just got this game, installing it now :D
me too wohoo gonna be fun
People need to cheat for this game..?
Ordered, should arrive by Friday...
Great, now it's crashing for me when I try to take troops out of a city... Edit: Crashes when I declare war on the cherokee nations too.
Damn, this game looks awesome. Don't have any money to buy it though. :X I guess i'll stick to Medieval 2 for now. :)
*cough* cheats *cough*
I only cheated at the start when I was getting like 1000 dollarz each turn.
I wish there were a better Campaign map tutorial. Or atleast with the new stuff. I've played all Total War games, but all dis shit with trade and stuff confuses me.
It apparantley though doesn't utilise dual cores.
>:( No wonder why I get such low performance I hope they fix this
I wish there were a better Campaign map tutorial. I heard the game supports quad-cores but doesn't support dual-cores, is this true?
I wish there were a better Campaign map tutorial. Or atleast with the new stuff. Also, there is a whole lot of money to be made by parking one of your armies on an enemy trade route.
Playing as the Maratha Confederacy. I'm currently holding around 5 regions. But that fucking green empire is annoying. My armies are quite powerful, but so are theirs. There often are huge battles where we both sustain losses in the thousands, and even though I end up the victor most of the time, it's annoying to lose so much soldiers. I'm gonna launch an eradication campaign against them soon. Also those damn spies sapping my generals >:( I lose one about every two to three turns to them.

I make like 30k a turn before taxes, by taxes I mean army and navy upkeep. Then I make like 5k.
Fuck yes, I now own the entire American Theatre, and am making 100k each turn.
Urg, does anyone know a good way to get people to trade with you? I'm Spain still, and even my very friendly allies won't. I'm hoping a revolution will help, because it'll change gov type to a more popular one, AND it will get rid of my -10 diplomatic relations king Karl. Yes, King Karl. The second, I believe.
Yeah, I can't get people to trade with me. They always request one of my regions, and no matter how much shit I give them in the diplomacy menu (after removing the region request) just for a trade agreement, they never accept. Like, I can offer them 30,000 gold and all the techs I know and they still refuse. I also captured that Portugal colony on the side. The only bad thing so far from being in a war with Portugal is, that there's a Portuguese galleon superfleet dicking around my coastline, and I can't really beat them with just brigs (being the best ships I have).
