Anyone know of any good trainers for this game? I have completed the game as the Brits without any cheats and now I just want to mess around.

I can't verify if this is true, but the only crashes I have ever had have been in the long campaign.

I'm in the short campaign and it is crashing.
Besides the fact that this game feels like an un-optimised piece of shit and it's buggier than a dead person it's really fun (when it works). Doing battles against friends has never been more fun, there's never any animosity after a battle like some RTS type games. It's definitely awesome.
I am unstoppable in multiplayer sieges.
Mortars are cool.

somehow vanilla rome looks bad... it's jumping out of the screen. works with medieval 2 also... dunno bout empire, but seriously if you have above 8xxx nvidia card try this out... if your below you will lag on any game.
the game is REALLY epic with this.
Gonna have to start over, keep crashing at year 1723 as British.. :(

The RAM is fine (unless it's DDR1, then there might be some problems).
The CPU should be fine for at least medium (I don't know which CPU you have, so I can't know for sure, it may not even run the game).
The GPU should be able to run it, but I don't know on what settings (I play it on high with a 8800GTX, so it should handle medium).
But yes, you should be able to run it, but I don't know on what settings.
Still, you may want to wait the response of someone who got your same GPU, just to be sure.

I can play on the settings below, with no lag, with
AMD Phenom Quad 2.4Ghz
ATI Radeon 4850 1GB GDDR5
8GB DDR2 800Mhz
and a fix from a page or two back which basically fixed all the crashes I was getting. You could at least run it on medium with no lag, maybe high.

I'm used to playing older games and jaggy lines don't really bother me as much as blurry textures.
Edit: That didn't really make sense. Jaggy lines don't really bother me as such, so with 0x AA it means I can maybe turn other settings up higher than I'd be able to with AA on.
Although I just changed it to 2x and turned everything else on. Looks about the same to me to be honest.
