Anyone know of any good trainers for this game? I have completed the game as the Brits without any cheats and now I just want to mess around.
Seems that I can't play this campaign any further, it crashed again on the same turn as before. This time when I selected a minister. R.I.P. my mighty empire, you lasted till the winter of 1744.
I am having simmilar problems...
Any suggestions for what faction to play next? I was playing the brits on world domination and it was so awesome!
If anyone else is crashing in the campaign; http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=238786 I can't verify if this is true, but the only crashes I have ever had have been in the long campaign.

Besides the fact that this game feels like an un-optimised piece of shit and it's buggier than a dead person it's really fun (when it works). Doing battles against friends has never been more fun, there's never any animosity after a battle like some RTS type games. It's definitely awesome.
I am unstoppable in multiplayer sieges. Mortars are cool.
ok... VERY STRANGE. Swear I didn't edit this picture, but I was flicking through my taxes, trying to keep my current government and avoid bankrupsy when these kittens appeared on my buttons... they didn't go away when I clicked them but after minimising (to save print screen) and maximising, they disappeared. anyone else had this? Is that what happens when you go bankrupt? Edit: Or rather, as Britain, in 1737?

That's fucking hilarious.
Rome: TW - Barbarian invasion looks fucking orgasmic with stereo 3d you should try it. Heres the guide: http://gamerslastwill.com/2009/02/02/3d-left-4-dead-for-free-oh-yeah-heres-how/ somehow vanilla rome looks bad... it's jumping out of the screen. works with medieval 2 also... dunno bout empire, but seriously if you have above 8xxx nvidia card try this out... if your below you will lag on any game. the game is REALLY epic with this.
Gonna have to start over, keep crashing at year 1723 as British.. :(
Why is the AI so keen on using fire and advance?

Okay.
Okay.
No.
No.
Yes.
Probably. Edit: Why do the Austrians have bigger Line Infantry? It's 200 vs the normal 160.
Probably. Edit: Why do the Austrians have bigger Line Infantry? It's 200 vs the normal 160.
Because the Austrians have better cloning machines then the other Factions.
Maybe it's because I researched Advance Embryonic Genetics.
How do you all think this would run on my new computer? 4GB of RAM NVIDIA GeForce 9500GT dual core AMD Athlon processor Could I run it on high or ultra? with no lag?
How do you all think this would run on my new computer? 4GB of RAM NVIDIA GeForce 9500GT dual core AMD Athlon processor Could I run it on high or ultra? with no lag?
The RAM is fine (unless it's DDR1, then there might be some problems). The CPU should be fine for at least medium (I don't know which CPU you have, so I can't know for sure, it may not even run the game). The GPU should be able to run it, but I don't know on what settings (I play it on high with a 8800GTX, so it should handle medium). But yes, you should be able to run it, but I don't know on what settings. Still, you may want to wait the response of someone who got your same GPU, just to be sure.

You could at least run it on medium with no lag, maybe high.
What? No AA? Why not. =/
What? No AA? Why not. =/
AA is for rich people... but then with his card i'm suspecting him of underclocking it?
What? No AA? Why not. =/
I'm used to playing older games and jaggy lines don't really bother me as much as blurry textures. Edit: That didn't really make sense. Jaggy lines don't really bother me as such, so with 0x AA it means I can maybe turn other settings up higher than I'd be able to with AA on. Although I just changed it to 2x and turned everything else on. Looks about the same to me to be honest.
