I owned most of europe as Austria by 1720, they rock.
Sadly it seems that CA messes up big time with the AI in the campagain map, they don't do anything, how can I take hole areas of a map and the AI for the past 50 years haven't even captured one region?
The game for the Dutch Campagain even says be wary of French Expanison, and why should I, they don't do anything.

Its kind of hard to do that when they no longer have any land, or armies, or anything.

Yeah it's so annoying, the only difficulty that gives you somewhat of a challenge is Very Hard.

Spain can be pretty hard, but i've managed to beat the campaign as them before.
They have good units, the hard part is just trying to manage European and American stuff at the same time. I actually managed to BUY half of the Americas over time, and I eventually took all of the American regions and attacked the British. Took a LOT to actually finish off the Brits in Scotland though. Then I invaded Prussia but it got a bit old so i'm now doing one as Austria.

My ai just turtle all the time. Im too afraid to go to war with them cos they have like, 8 full armies just sitting on my border, growing each turn...

In my experience, they'll declare war on you very soon.

I've gotten the option to trade technology with Britain before, and one of the techs i've seen them have is "Underhanded submersible warfare." No idea what it does, but I do know I somehow got it from them when I conquered them as Spain. Wasn't listed in my tech window, and I couldn't see any effect. So basically I have no idea what it does, or why it was there.
I guess so. That's exactly what it said. No clue what it does, or any benefit of having it.

Some ranked up Windbuchse jaegers to gank their arty crews. Then to fall back into lines of of those double barrelled light infantry dudes.
I've defeated other players so many times by doing a fighting retreat with a few squads of shit hot light infantry.

Not really, just make sure they don't bump into anyone, and don't make them run by accident.
Battles looks so unrealistic in this game ... They should have improved the combats look since the last game.
