Well, been playing the "lite" version for a while now. So much potential in this. They've changed the payment model too so looks like I've been persuaded to buy. At least I can save shit now...
I'm going to make a stationary cannon, it won't have forward/backwards thrusters, but can rotate in any direction. I hope it's easy to customize what weapons fire, a video I saw showed all kinds of different fire methods, from a large beam to just a scatter of little plasma balls. [editline]28th September 2011[/editline] I hope the game (I'm sure it will) will feature better collisions so you could dock inside larger crafts, now you just bounce against another ship. [editline]28th September 2011[/editline] oh and the idea for better collisions also brought me to the idea of docking-clamp blocks, which will keep any entity inside an entity in place.

Giant Penis Ship That is all.
I hope they add planets that are destructible/minable too.
I'll purchase once they implement a 'death-star like' entity.
I hope you will be able to build bases on planets. Would be awesome to play some kind of ctf/base where you have to take out planetary defenses before landing on the planets.
I hope you will be able to build bases on planets. And just like in minecraft you can place block on any other block. So without some controller block and thruster blocks you're just making space junk. But that also means you can add anything to other objects.
The game developers have a long road ahead
I hope it's easy to customize what weapons fire, a video I saw showed all kinds of different fire methods, from a large beam to just a scatter of little plasma balls.
You can do all that already. A single plasma weapon shoots a little ball. A long stack of plasma weapons in a line causes a longer bream that slices through shit.
Just bought the game because they revised the payment system.
Can't decide if worth...
Can't decide if worth...
I'm going to wait until they add more before I buy it. At the moment it doesn't seem like it would be worth buying, but it could turn into an awesome game eventually if they keep working on it.
Hmm. I'd say it's worth $10, especially after the price revamp. Right now it's just a building toy in space... but spaceships! Whoo! Trying to figure some more stuff out. Will keep ya posted.
I'm going to have to get $10 for this now that the payment is revised. It's like Shores of Hazeron and Minecraft in one!
I'll wait until there is actual life support or MP.
I think Mojang might have set an unhealthy trend of selling a game that is in development. Why are indies selling a game that is being develop. There is a reason why normal developers don't sell games that is being made. It's like moving into house that is currently being built.

Indie developers do this in the hopes that they can devote more time to actually doing this rather than spending all their free time working on the project.
So who else has purchased this? I surely can't be the only one.
Moi.
I don't want to buy the game (yet) since I'm unsure if it'll actually get finished like they said. but I really want to test giant cannons and plasma weapons :(
I will just wait till they reached some sort of milestone or some shit, current content is not really proving yet. And by that time i am sure the gaming sites including FP will make a note about it
As everyone else pretty much said, i will buy it when i get more content.

I got it for way lower then it's last price cause i got it early.
Where is the free version?
Where is the free version?
Its displayed XXL on the front page of the game..
I will just wait till they reached some sort of milestone or some shit, current content is not really proving yet. Without the new payment system I would never buy the game at all, now I'm waiting for the devs to prove that they can make this into a game worth the investment.
Looks amazing.
I might buy it, since the payment method makes somewhat more sense now. Though I am afraid the game isn't going to be done any soon/ever.
I still only bought this game for $1 over PayPal.
