I did a bit of googling around and still haven't found ANY proof, whatsoever of BI saying that Arma 2 won't go on sale.

it's not a good way to think, why spend so much on many games that you probably won't play, when you could instead spend it on something else! :D

I always find it hilarious seeing people use credit cards for stuff like this.
My wallet is armed only with one of those $20 steam codes. I get the feeling that my wallet is about to become the Marcus Luttrell of wallets.

I had the same thing when I was purchasing Skyrim. I got an error message and when I tried it again, it says I already own it. My debit card was charged, I got an email confirming the transaction, and I did get the game.
I hope you really want all that DLC, or oh god you're gonna be poor.
