Its a nice concept, but it is all but broken, at least in my experience.

maybe theres more than just one dlc?
Ooh, Dragon Age Origins: Ultimate Edition for 7,49€. You got yourself a deal, mister.
Haven't completed it. Maybe now, I have a chance to.
I could get DA:O but I would need to owe my friend money thanks to my current financial situation. Worth it?
Try to get the ultimate edition if it's available in your region
I wonder if I'll be able to get anything for $1.84, because that's all I have left.
-snip-
Guess who totally forgot to buy SimCity4...
Me too...came back home too late

Fortix and portal 2 the final hours.
Steam sale problems:
decide to buy a game at 75% off
See this:

Ask yourself when the fuck that happened and why on earth you haven't played it yet.
Guys, can someone buy me DA:O?
I'm stuck on 3.78$
Can give TF2 items.
Greedy bastards at TF2Outpost sells it for 4 keys, what is a total ripoff.
Is "Nuclear Dawn" worth getting for 3,66 euro?

If nothing more exciting comes until the end of the sale, I'll probably pick up Portal 2 Final Hours.
Now that I have tons of games I'll never have the time to finish, I get into the Dota2 beta...

I feel like I'm the only person who doesn't care about DOTA. It's advertised as being a game that is extremely complicated to learn how to play (Everyone says it takes a few months of daily play to become merely "not bad,") and I don't want to plunge that much effort into a game.
Is Dragon Age: Origins worth $5? I've been looking for a new RPG to play.

But once you know how to play its fun as hell because then you can start messing around and do things like play support phantom lancer

Surely that's exaggerated, but the main point is still true.

DOTA isn't all that difficult, honestly. You take a lane, farm creeps, and level up. I had never played DOTA before when I got an invite, but after two rounds I got the gist of it and started winning matches. It's not as intimidating as it's made out to be.
No Driver SF, no ArmA 2 sale... Steam hates me.
fuck i thought the next big thing was a political game
i guess not
fucking disappointed
I'm pissed at myself, bought DA:O, didn't see the ultimate edition option. Why the fuck don't all games with more than one version have an upgrade option?

What does the the ultimate edition even do? Seemed worth the extra $2.50, but I don't know what it fully entails.

Ultimate editions (or GOTY or Complete or whatever) are intended to try to suck as much cash out of people that haven't bought the game yet as they can... if you bought it within the first year or two, before the Ultimate Edition, they figure that you either like the game enough to buy the DLC separate, or you don't like it enough to buy any of it.

Comes with ALL the DLC, including the Awakening DLC, which when released cost $40 and all 9 smaller DLC packs. Totally worth the extra $2.50 if you've never played it.
Except... for me it says $4.99 for the base game, and $12.49 for the Ultimate? Where are you that there's only a $2.50 difference?
