There's a demo, try it out for yourself.
Also, which Fallout:NV DLC should I get? I already have OWB.
Lonesome Road is supposed to be at the end of the DLC story arc, so get Dead Money or Honest Hearts.
I see a number of people complaining about repeated deals. what games are we all looking to buy?
Driver SF, Risen 1, Lego Star Wars 3, Lego Hairy Potter 2, Prototype, Splinter Cell Conviction and Timeshift.
Apart from the Lego games, I expected them to be daily deals. That might would have happen if the vote and the flash sales were something extra, so it would make up for the fact that there are only nine daily deals instead of the classical 12 or more deals. But no, everything repeats, even though the Steam catalogue increased in size, so there are more games to be put on sale than in the sale before.
I know I sound a bit "entitled", as SPUF likes to throw this term around right now, but I was looking forward to this sale months in advance and the Steam Sales are a bigger event for me than my birthday and christmas combined.
I don't know if it's actually clever of Valve or not. With less games discounted, more people could buy it afterwards for the higher price (like people are going crazy over ARMA 2). On the other hand, they would sell so much more than they do with the current system. I can totally understand that they can't (seem to) afford to throw around free games again like on the last sale.
Driver SF was on sale earlier so you guys missed that boat by a long shot.
yeah I'm pretty sure I saw driver SF for $7.49 or around about there
so long as you get into the friendship fort or whatever it is at the end I think we'll all be able to see the good deals for a last time. they might do something else though, who knows
Picked up Fallout 3 GOTY and New Vegas Ultimate Edition
Can someone please explain to me why in the name of god i always have to add my card-number / expiration dates etc again and again. If i save the payment option and try to purchase again it says ;
Your purchase has not been completed. Your credit card information has been declined by your credit card company.
Note that in some cases, your credit card company may put a 'hold' on funds in your account, but you will not be charged. After correcting any errors in the information displayed below, please try your purchase again.
First one to fix this for me has a chance to win something next time i buy 4-pack. I just can't figure it out.
whats the 2 best new vegas dlc?
not spending 10 dollars on all the dlc
Old World Blues or Dead Money. Lonesome Road is decent if you're not too bothered about a thrilling conclusion to the story.
Driver SF was on sale earlier so you guys missed that boat by a long shot.
What? When? Do you mean a few weeks before the sale? That's when I first got interested into the game. Afterwards I wanted it. I thought "hey, there'll be so many games on summer sale, it'll totally be there again for even less cash". Guess I was wrong.
Edit: Ah yes, the vote. I wanted both NfS and Driver, so there was no way to satisfy me completely.

Old world blues was fucking great, great atmosphere and gameplay altogether.
Haven't really played the others though

I think it was one of the Community's Choices IIRC.
"Fallout 3 is not optimized for Windows 7"
Uhm...does that mean I should avoid it and New Vegas?
I think it was one of the Community's Choices IIRC.
But Need for Speed won that one.
If it was a flash sale that I managed to miss while I was asleep, well fuck.

It lost however, to NFS: Hot Pursuit.
Ninja'd by Dr. Steve Brule.

Yeah I've had no problems with it other than it conflicts with my sound card, not a Windows 7 issue though, running Win 7 x64.

Surprising what you can get from steam with that amount of money.
You can get one ps3 game with that 50€ here in Finland. Gee. Think it's time to sell my ps3 :)
Alan wake: american nightmare y/n?
Yes, yes, and more yes. If you liked Alan Wake, it's a great little side story for a few hours, and it has a really fun survival mode, I still need to beat some of the levels in it.
Can anyone confirm that Krater is a good game? It looks fun and seems to have an interesting atmosphere. Also plan on getting both Witcher games and playing those for a while.

It's fun, granted I only got a few hours in so far, it's like they combined a bunch of different game ideas and it actually works well together.
Could someone give me an overview of The Witcher 2?
I'm not sure about it. I love RPG's like KOTOR, Fallout and Dragon Age, is it like that? Is it worth the money? Will I enjoy it?
Buy witcher 2 if you haven't already
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Mass Effect 1
Mass Effect 2
Crusader Kings II
Alice: Madness Returns
Dead Island
Mirror's Edge
Shoot Many Robots (4 Pack)
Dungeon Defenders

All totaling $71.35 and I still got $32.54 in my Steam Wallet ($485.73 overall)

It's a fuckin masterpiece but it's different from fallout/skyrim because it's less free roaming and very focused on its complex story line.
Also, did you just compare dragon age to witcher2? DA is the shit on witcher's shoe.
Witcher 2 is my favorite RPG, honestly was worth the 50 bucks I paid for it put 42 hours into the game for one play-through. There is a branching storyline and the game just looks great. Honestly At the price its really good.
Are any New Vegas DLC worth it? (I already have the game so I won't buy the Ultimate Edition.)
No way, that DLC was really mediocre. Get Dead Money or Lonesome Road.
I'd go with Lonesome Road yeah. The "ending" in New Vegas is the ending for the Mojave but Lonesome Road is the ending for the courier personally.
Gun Runner's Arsenal is good if you want new weapons.
How is Nexuiz?
