I voted Demigod, just because I've always wanted to try it and would give my friends a copy to try it with me at that price.
Vote for demigod, i might buy 4-pack and have a raffle. :) Depends on the last price.
Tinfoil hat time!
In all previous announcements, the link to the supposed 2550x1600 version instead linked to a 1920x1205 image with an SHA-1 hash filename. Today, the 2550x1600 file exists with the plaintext filename in the same pattern as the other resolutions.
Going back through previous announcements, manually entering the filename "Day##_2550.jpg" works on Day 1, but does not work on any other day.
Each Day's plaintext-filename images are stored in the directory for extra artwork for one of the games which was a daily deal that day. However, using the above method, the Day02_2550.jpg image can be found using the base URL for the Day 1 images. This does not appear to work on any other days.
1920x1205 is not a standard monitor resolution. The closest similar resolution is WUXGA, which is 1920x1200.
2550x1600 is also not a standard monitor resolution. The closest similar resolution is WQXGA, which is 2560x1600.
1920x1205 = 2313600
2550x1600 = 4080000
Completely abstract leap here: What if this communicates a phone number? (408) 231-3600 is a valid wireless phone number in Santa Clara, California, but I lack the confidence to try calling it.
Alternatively, the difference between the standard resolutions and the provided resolutions may itself hold some meaning - The 1920 width image gives us 9600 extra pixels, while the 2550 image is short 16000 pixels.
9600 is not a valid AppID or SubID, but 16000 is the AppID for Discovery! A Seek and Find Adventure
16000 - 9600 = 6400 - The AppID for Joint Task Force.
16000 + 9600 = 25600 - The AppID for Eschalon: Book 1.
Today's Hashed-filename image is linked in the overall Summer Camp Group. The filename is 55959c8053de01497e1d58c1d563d7de2a43b068.jpg, which matches the image's SHA-1 hash.
The SHA-1 hash of today's 2550 width image is 9a95b189b7da4e30d1d6a35bffb357defe273245. There is no image with this filename - at least, not in the normal Summer Camp image URL for hashed filenames, nor can I find any hidden meaning for this hash value. This is probably a dead end.

Day 1's images were stored in the folder for Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare 3 (AppID 115300) - Also referenced by the mention of Captain Price.
Day 2's images were stored in the Anno 2070 folder (AppID 48240) - Not referenced by the story text, unless "Ants" is a phonetic reference to "ANno Twenty-Seventy."
Day 3's images were stored in the folder for Skyrim (AppID 72850), referenced by "Dragons rawr"-ing in the distance.
Day 4's images were stored in the folder for Saint's Row: The Third (AppID 55230), which was not referenced in the story text.
Day 5's images were stored in the folder for Rage (AppID 9200) - curiously, their filenames are "Day04####.jpg" instead of "Day05####.jpg." Correctly named versions do not appear to exist in that directory. Rage was not directly referenced by that day's story text.
Day 6's images were stored in the folder for Limbo (AppID 48000). This was not referenced by the story text, but the lighting of the image itself may be a reference to Limbo's unique visual style.
Day 7's images were stored in the folder for LA Noire (AppID 110800), directly referenced by the PS text.
Day 8's images are stored in the folder for Plants Vs. Zombies (AppID 3590). There is no story text today.

I'm grasping at straws here, but what if the names of the games form an acronym?
Call of Duty: MW3
Anno 2070
Skyrim
Saint's Row: The Third
Rage
Limbo
LA Noire
And by the end of the sale, we'll have all the letters and we have to rearrange the letters into some form of anagram.

Someone PM'd me a plausible theory for why they're using game extras folders for the images: It means we have no idea where tomorrow's images might end up, since we don't know what tomorrow's Daily Deals will be. If we could figure out tomorrow's Daily Deals, we could check their folders for other "Day##_####.jpg" images.
We do know that there are always eight normal Apps plus an Indie Bundle (which is a Subscription, not an App). Tomorrow's images probably won't be stored in a folder for one of the Indie Bundles.
All eight of the games used so far have also appeared in the Community Choice sales, although COD MW3, Anno 2070, and Skyrim all appeared as Community Choice options after their Daily Deal appearance. The rest appeared before their Daily Deal.
It's probably a safe bet that they won't run the exact same daily deal twice. It's also probably safe to assume that they won't use the extra graphics folder for a Subscription/bundle. If we assume that:
One of tomorrow's Daily Deals will also serve as the host directory for tomorrow's wallpaper, and
That game has previously appeared in a Community Choice vote, and
That game has not previously appeared in a Daily Deal this sale
Then I come up with 39 possible candidates for the image-hosting game:
Assassin's Creed Revelations
Bastion
Batman: Arkham City
Beyond Good and Evil
BioShock 2
BRINK
Dead Space 2
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Driver San Francisco
Dungeon Defenders
E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy
F.E.A.R. 3
Fable III
Far Cry 2
Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2
Grand Theft Auto IV
Half-Life 2
Jagged Alliance: Back in Action
Just Cause 2
Lara Croft And The Guardian Of Light
Left 4 Dead 2
Magicka
Mirror's Edge
Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit
Portal 2
Q.U.B.E.
Quantum Conundrum
Red Faction Guerrilla
Risen 2
Sanctum
SimCity 4 Deluxe Edition
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II
Test Drive Unlimited 2
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
The Witcher 2
Tiny and Big: Grandpa's Leftovers
Torchlight
Trine 2
However, I've checked each of these for a "Day09_1920.jpg" file, and was not able to find one.
They are really goinng crazy with the theories over there...
Personally, i think that the pictures are just the activities planned

That's pretty fucking crazy. I'll laugh if they're right, though.
There is only two things i hope from these sales.
Demigod needs to win this vote
And Half-Life bundle to come in flash-sales for -75%
That's pretty fucking crazy. I'll laugh if they're right, though.
I think they're going just a bit overboard
Signing up on Reddit comes with a gratis tinfoil hat.
They are going way, way overboard with this. They are just storing images in different locations so we can't easily find tomorrow's picture.

Kinda funny though how it's getting treated like some super secret ARG Valve are putting in the sale. But yeah, definitely reading to much into it.
And when it turns out to be nothing, everyone will be mad at Valve for lying.
Am i only one who's hyped about demigod going for around 2-3€ if it wins the votes :( ? I think that game looks fantastic
Is Red Faction Armageddon good? I played Red Faction Guerrilla and loved it.
ok this is the only vote i don't feel confident voting for something
ok this is the only vote i don't feel confident voting for something
Is Red Faction Armageddon good? I played Red Faction Guerrilla and loved it.
Don't even bother.
Its awful

You don't even say why.
Total Biscuit said that the Game was really good only that it went back to it roots since the first one was linear as well, Guerilla is the only open world one.
Come home from work and see Max Payne 3 for 50% off, My wallet says yes!. Now its time to get past that 36GB DRM.
Is Red Faction Armageddon good? I played Red Faction Guerrilla and loved it.
Seeing as how you played Guerilla and loved it, I would strongly advise not to play Armageddon.
It's almost like making the complete opposite to what a sequel to Guerilla should have been.
Guerilla was amazing and to date has the best the destruction in any game. Shame the destruction element is the only thing Armageddon had that was decent. Destruction doesn't quite work as well when you're trapped in some shitty town under the surface.

So you're a dev?
Because the first one and the second one where Linear as well.
So you're a dev?

What tells you he's a dev?
Isn't Demigod that shitty moba that tried very hard but barely got any player ?
What tells you he's a dev?
I wasn't implying that he was, Only because Armageddon is linear doesn't mean that it sucks, Half-Life is also linear but doesn't suck. And the first one was linear too so i don't get the why Armageddon would suck.
I think Reddit is looking into it waaaay too much. There is no conspiracy or hidden stuff.
Just to check are the current daily deals on steam actually todays?, i forgot what was yesterday
bought fallout new vegas ultimate, looks worth the money
I hope roller coaster tycoon 3 platinum goes on a daily deal or flash sale, if it doesn't I will just buy it 50% off
If you don't already have the first two I highly suggest getting them first.
Voted Splinter Cell in the hopes of a franchise sale of the series.
Why didn't this occur to me? No more voting when I just wake up.

Armageddon failed because it was extremely poorly executed. The gameplay was shit, the designs were confusing, and it was nothing like what people were expecting from a follow-up to Guerilla. It's not about it being linear, it's about it being a shitty game.
So you're a dev?

When did I ever say the word 'linear' in that entire comment. Stop talking shit... I also never claimed to be a developer. You asked for people's opinions on Armageddon and I gave a brief opinion of it.
The reason why Armageddon sucked was because (like many other people have stated here) the designs the game brought up were flawed and confusing as shit, gameplay was boring (mainly due to the amount of stuff you could play around with in the environment, the environment Armageddon was set in didn't really help the destruction capabilities and the story was weak (but to be honest, the story in Guerilla wasn't that strong). Also the enemies are the most bland enemies I've ever fought in a sci-fi game. It seemed like they wanted an excuse to throw in weird alien like spider creatures.
I expected Armageddon to be Guerilla and more. Guerilla was the one open world singleplayer game I liked at the time and the multiplayer wasn't shabby too

Opinions
To whoever was asking if it was good, watch some gameplay videos and make your own judgement.
I personally enjoyed Guerrilla and Armageddon, and for that price Armageddons worth it.
Is "Nuclear Dawn" (3,66€) worth buying?
Heard game is good but is it still playable?

Not a lot of people play it, the classes aren't exactly balanced either.
