Wait, I have a single thing missing on the front page of Steam and the only thing I don't see is ARMA II... How can that not be available in the UK?
Fuck, bought Quantum Conundrum just yesterday.
I swear I remember buying ARMA 2 on sale one weekend for like £3.50
So Operation Arrowhead at £8.99 is not that bad I guess
Oh well, now all I want is Dead Rising 2: OTR to go 75% off again. I was dumb enough to not get it.

You can still get it for 40% off if you just search for it. It must be a glitch.
Bohemia aren't going to sacrifice their fan loyalty so you self entitled idiots can play DayZ. These sales really do spoil you people "waaahh it's only 40% off"
Cry me a fucking river.
haha let's get mad at people wanting a 3 year old game to be cheaper, because they want to enjoy something while at the same time not having large amounts of expendable income
HAHAHAHAHA WHAT A BUNCH OF IDIOTS RIGHT
great job, get fucked

People are complaining because Arma II went on sale for way lower prices before Day Z.
People are complaining because Arma II went on sale for way lower prices before Day Z.
And? If you saw a sharp increase in sales on your game and you had the opportunity to make a huge amount of money because people will see this as the lowest ARMA 2 has been, you cannot say truth-fully that you would not jump on this opportunity.
ArmA 2 finally goes on sale and everyone complains about the price because they want to buy it for a buggy unfinished mod in alpha, seems like some people are just too entitled to play the actual game.
I never said I was insulting them because of their lower income I was insulting them because they seem to be entitled to a game being more than 50% off.
a three year old game
people are understandably upset, because for previous sales it has gone for cheaper, and for people who aren't loaded, a 75% sale would have let them play what most people consider to be a great game, and a mod which currently very popular
you called these people idiots because they can't afford it at 40%
what the fuck are you doing
Fable III is up there, but it
won that vote.
:suicide:
face it
making it 40% off when it could be 75% off purely because theres some shitty mod is as money grabbing as it gets
And? If you saw a sharp increase in sales on your game and you had the opportunity to make a huge amount of money because people will see this as the lowest ARMA 2 has been, you cannot say truth-fully that you would not jump on this opportunity.
that makes perfect sense from a business perspective but to call people "self entitled idiots" over wanting something cheaper is pathetic. you act as if ArmA 2 is so elite that the guys wanting to buy it solely because of DayZ are stupid and inferior to you
Question, when it says sales all the way through to the 22nd, does that mean today is the last sale or is tomorrow the last sale?
Tomorrow is the last sale of course. Fort Friendship was rebuilt and is now acepting new members. We must see if Cyc(?) comes back!
[editline]21st July 2012[/editline]
I bought ARMA II at full price a couple of weeks ago. It's well worth the $17.99 it is now.
Got Cdkey for AC:Brotherhood here. Willing to trade it for shit. :| Never liked AC series.
day z isn't even that good of a mod. If you're seriously bitching about BI not lowering the price down even more so you can buy it to play some unfinished, buggy, mod and not really care about the actual game then there is a slight chance that you suffer from serious brain damage.
I mean really all of u are acting like it's the end of the fucking world if you can't play some dumb zombie mod and are blaming BI for it. If you really want to play it, then accept it's not going to go any lower in price, buy it, and shut the fuck up.
And they took Arma X off the store today, which I was considering getting if it went on a deeper discount.
In other words, they're not getting my money. Oh well!
day z isn't that good of a mod.
I agree. hence why people are reluctant to buy ArmA 2 for 40% off because all they want to do is play DayZ. that doesn't make them stupid
I don't understand what you guys are all on about. Bohemia interactive are a company. They make games to make money. As much as they obviously like the community, providing the game with constant updates for two years despite it selling unfairly poorly (As shown by their 75% discount last year) they are in the business of making money. I'm quite surprised it's on sale at all, seeing as they have guaranteed sales either way. If you wanted the game when it was 75% off, you should have bought it when it was 75% off or at any of the other times when they were practically (or in one case literally) giving it away for free.
ARMA 2 looks cool but I don't know if I would be able to get into the actual game. Day Z looks fun for a couple of hours but it looks so repetitive after a while, there isn't really any major goal like getting out of the area or killing a certain amount of zombies or anything. Is it worth the actual game? I am actually just thinking of waiting till the last day because I am sure it's going to be the most popular game of the day and they feature all the popular games on the last day.

The only reason anyone wants it now is the Daisy mod, which is why no one bought it then.
I'm more annoyed at them taking Arma X off the store entirely.
Lol, ArmA X was removed from the Steam Store. You are just digging yourself in deeper, Bohemia.
Whats arma x?
Whats arma x?
Basically a package of ArmA and content.
A bundle of all ArmA games.
ninjad
A bundle of all ArmA games.
and why the fuck did they remove it?
and why the fuck did they remove it?
Because Bohemia are being rather greedy. More incentive to buy Arma II: CO.
well unless they make really short and easy activities then we got metaphorical ones instead of real ones.
and why the fuck did they remove it?
Greed, I guess
