To all the people complaining about the Arma 2 sale: did you really expect the price to go any lower? The game has been a top seller for over a month, they're not going to just have a 75% off sale when even at the current price, their sales are about to go through the roof. You should've seen it coming, the game had a measly 20% discount for a whole week while most other games were discounted more. Are you really going to blame them for this even though the game originally wasn't very popular outside a niche market and is just now getting the chance to become highly successful? Besides, it isn't even a full priced game to begin with, undiscounted you get a full game + a standalone expansion for half the price of a new game. If you really wanted to get it, it shouldn't be hard for you to pay the amount they're asking. If you're not that interested, just give it a pass and quit your bitching.

The developer has deliberately made part of its catalog impossible to purchase in order to get people to buy a specific game. That's my main issue with the Arma II sale.

its ok to try to get the most money but 40%? i wouldnt care if it was 50% but they are really just money grabbing on full throttle if they're going to put a terrible discount on that along with removing arma x
I bought Arma II for DayZ about 2 months ago, I've tried getting into the campaign but I hate the gunplay in it. Guns just don't feel very smooth. Also the tutorials in the first Arma II are the worst shit ever. Doesn't explain shit. I feel like a lost child because I can't figure out a lot of the controls even after taking all the tutorials.
Looking at the art they've been giving us, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside when I llok at them in sequence.

I wasn't aiming my post at you, but it is weird that they removed the Arma X, I see literally no reason why they would do that.
I wasn't really happy with this sale, good prices I guess and I got a few good games but without an event it's not as special, kind of disappointed Valve didn't do one this time

How's Arkham Asylum in comparison to Arkham City? I should likely only get one and I figure it'd be best to get the first since it's cheaper and I like playing things in order.

The first is great, I actually like it more. The second is a better game but I just had more fun with Asylum.

It might be the setting, or maybe I just got burned out on the game by the time I played City.

The first ones story is better, in second they are trying to squeeze in way too many villains.

It's pretty shitty, because my PC has a damaged motherboard atm, so I'm having to order in parts to fix it.
