I meant regarding the community badge, not the steam guard itself, steam guard is a really great, extra layer of security for your account.
Steam guard was the thing that alerted me that a some of my accounts had been compromised (except for my email account, thankfully), I love it.

Mostly correct. It'll likely go through the 23rd, where Day 12 will be a "second chance" day, like most of their massive sales.
I really wish some of these community achievements were retroactive. I've uploaded screenshots, but it's not counting. And I can't upload them right now. It's the only thing keeping me from getting the damn badge.

Some of the tasks were already unlocked for me, but some i had to do again, even though i did them before. So yeah, that would be pretty neat

When my account was hacked it was a time when I didn't have steam guard on
I shall never be making THAT mistake again, sad times, but valve are completely awesome and got it back.
