Steam Summer Sale 2012 Dawn Of The First Day - Games

I've been hoping to get Railworks with it's DLC. Don't fail me Steam.

Got myself a PaySafeCard so I could get myself Arma2 CO (DayZ and Project Reality). I'd buy it from Bohemia Interactive store, but they only accept payments made with either PayPal or Visa/MasterCard/...

amazon are crafty getting their sale on before Steam, because the Steam discounts are going to blow them out of the water. That said, people desperate for a deal will just buy from Amazon right now.

I am looking forward to this sale hopefully get Arma II - CO and some other stuff.

Am I crazy in hoping that the Civ 5 expansion might get a discount somewhere along the line?

I want to pick up the Arma complete pack - I missed the time it was 50% off. :(

BI are just plain stupid if they think a 50% off sale won't get them a ton of buyers, people won't buy $30 worth of software to play a mod currently in alpha which will most likely drop dev when Arma 3 comes out, forcing any players to buy that to keep playing it. I've played ArmA 2 and quite enjoyed it but I've seen many who haven't and even more that are buying the game just for DayZ. Fuck I caved in and only then realized I had spent $30 and I had to download 16 GB of content, most of it that I won't use. Rocket needs to get his shit straight and use the content from either game instead of both.

I'm selling my friend an old PC of mine so he can finally get into PC gaming. He is really bad with money so I don't know if he has any money for the sale but I really want to show him a lot of good games. Mainly I want him to be able to afford the Valve Complete pack. Hopefully he can save up some cash to pick it up.

Did DST just happen in the US or something? Daily deals always changed at 3 PM for me, today it happened at 2 PM.

Normally this is where i would be busting a nut, but Valve just left me blue-balled.

I've reached a point where I now own every game that would go on sale that I would be interested in, so this huge sale will result in me buying perhaps 1 or 2 games. Either that or I've realized that even though that game is 75%, I probably will never play it.

Only thing I'm likely to buy this year is Skyrim.

I have a feeling I'll end up buying games ive aleady finished on ps3, just so that I can play them on pc.
