1 of them does give you Single player content. I believe it's just an armor, purely aesthetic.

so would anyone here honestly recommend max payne 3? my friends who never played max payne 1 or 2 say its pretty fun but i've heard from others that it's not as fun and the cutscenes last as long as the action

It's totally not like the first two games. The cutscenes are skippable most of the time, assuming you've waited a couple minutes for the content to load. Multiplayer is excellent, but is filled with snipers and dual-wielders (which leads to an endless rape-war between the two), singleplayer is hard, but enjoyable. It's the best TPS on PC.

Arma Gold is only available in the ArmA X edition which I find weird, and they don't even let you buy Queen's Gambit without Arma X either.
