I can confirm that it must be activated on steam, Amazon had a 10 bucks deal and I got that, activated on steam and everything.

It's SUPPOSED to, but when I bought it and got the confirmation email it didn't send a key. Many others who bought it on GMG are having the same issue and are having to send in support tickets to get it resolved, and I did the same. They don't work on weekends so I'll have to wait until Monday to figure out the full story, but based on what it says on their site it's supposed to be a key activated on Steam. The problem is (supposedly) that they've run out of keys to distribute, which is why people are having issues.

Doubt it will, was on sale (75% i think) a week or so ago.
