It could be a lack of memory. It probably soaks it all up and the game crashes before starting.

Fuck I hate 64-bit, few buddies of mine had some problems with it.

I've used it for over a year now and never had any problems with it, as far as I can remember.

I've had no problems with a 64-bit OS. One program didn't want to get installed but then I just downloaded the 64-bit version.

I've had 64 bit for about 3 years. Very few problems with it.

No problems with win7 64-bit for me either..

64-bit has 0 problems with stalker for me. I only have problems with early 32-bit games like Dark Messiah etc.
