S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Series Megathread: Full of Delicous Edition - Games

I discovered a newfound joy in fighting in the arena in SoC. now that I can actually die (weaned myself off trainers, remember?), that one fight where you're armed with just a knife versus an exosuit with an F2000 brings new challenge. though it wasn't until 50 quickloads later when I gave up and tossed one of the grenades the game forgot to take away from me. blew him skyhigh. what a waste. also, despite the fact that my default loadout takes up 45 kilos of my inventory, I still manage to snag enough swag to make 150 grand by the time I'm out of Yantar. what do I buy with it? a SEVA suit, a G36, and 560 rounds of ammo for it, of course! I'm pretty much set until the Military Suit in the Pripyat Stash, eh?

EDIT: I seem to remember hearing of a book series that was only released in the Eastern Europe area. were they actually real?

also, they should totally released a book of guitar tabs for all the little guitar ditties the STALKERS play in the game. it'd be easier for all you guys trying to learn them already.

Hey Thorny, I was/am playing Redux without doing any jobs and I still have too much money. I have 4k with very good gear (Joker and Barge's gear, and that one gun that duty uses). I would recommend making there less stalkers so you don't get 1k worth of stuff each time you leave the base.

I think there's a bug in COP or I'm missing something. If you decide to help out Sultan by giving him a compass, he asks you to track down the stalkers carrying the Svarog prototype detectors. I'll get a job to find an artifact for Beard, get a map location for stalkers carrying Svarog, kill them and take it, but then the mission updates saying I need to find a second one. How do I actually come across the second batch of stalkers carrying it? The only indicator points back to Beard and whether I complete the current artifact retrieval mission or let it cancel to pick up another artifact recovery mission, no map indicator pops up for the second group of stalkers. What's going on there?

I talked to the guy on Youtube and he says it should be out at least by June or July, cant remember which. SMP 2.4.9.4 FULL is awesome btw. using it right now

This summer is going to be good for mods, since both Lost Alpha and SMP are supposed to come out by then.

In Clear sky, they're surrounded by two hostile factions, one neutral whom they attack anyway and only use crappy shotguns and pistols and in COP, their line of missions are bugged. I'm not siding with those jerks ever again.

Anyway, ima tell you: no hope for the tv series. Looking at the channel that will be broadcasting it... Eh, bad thing you're not Russian, you'd get it. Basically, this channel is famous for some awful, almost fanmade, bullshit still going on. Can't think of a single BO SCHITT that's out there without vomiting.
