Please explain how to attack using the fighter. All it does is fail.

FFS. To all those wondering: top left corner of screen wen you spawn as fighter.
So, does everyone else crash at night and can't rejoin the server till night is over?
It's simple and fun. I used to be a rather good pilot, but since I'm out of practice I keep overshooting my target. And I can't use the boats effectively for the life of me.
Did you know the turrets can shoot explosive cannonballs? They cost about $4 apiece, but if you can get enough money you can fire them in rapid succession for deliciously explosive results. In many cases, you don't even need to hit a fighter, as the explosion can (and often does) knock planes off balance and into a stall.

Its more of a crash as soon as night is over for me, but it sucks that you cant alt+f4 out of it, you have to go into task manager and kill it from there

I remember when FP was playing this game that I coordinated entire air night operations.
Those were the better days.

What the hell, there's a server with a version number of 0.75. Is this some quick hack or something else?
So I installed the game and It's REALLY laggy. I mean, even the main menu is laggy!
Server is being hosted. Name is "2nd47 is Awesome".3 bots per team, up to 32 players. I'll run it for the next 3 or so hours.

I played a single player mission with bots and I must say that it is loads of fun. The fighter is a tad awkward to fly though.

The only reason it was laggy was because I hadn't updated my video drivers yet. It's fine now though.

It is at first. The trick is to turn by yawing instead of rolling.

I know what you mean, I think it's because it procedurally generates everything, and probably takes a good bit of processing power and memory to do so. None of the models, effects or maps are stored on your HD. I can run it in the highest resolution, but only with about 10 bots tops, any more than that and framerate does become a serious issue. You could try going into the options and putting it on a lower resolution, turning on Low Detail mode, or turning off Smoke, Shadows, Bloom, etc.

*shrug* You'd have to ask the guy who programmed it. It could just be an experiment, or something to help him learn more about using complex algorithms. Doing it this way does save a lot of space, which also saves bandwidth for his website.
Another procedurally generated game, .kkrieger, is only a 100kb executable. The programmers said that if everything was stored normally, it would be around 200mb. They won a couple awards in Germany for it. [url]http://www.theprodukkt.com/kkrieger[/url]
How do you join a server? It just says there's 3 online, none appear in the list.
