God, I remember playing it for the first time. I just ran to some barnyard, went up and noticed gunshots. Someone tried to kill me, I ran up the stairs to hide, he tried to came after me but got stuck in some wall or something. Best start ever.

Ahhhh holy shit, just got my first murder, half way climbing up a deer stand in Balota and SUDDENLY some fucker just spawns below me, under the stand, he has an AK and we can't hit each other so I just run to the side and unload about 10 m4 bullets into him, I absolutely shit myself, I have so much good gear I am paranoid and just before it I was thinking "Someone is going to spawn ontop of me or something"

Is it possible to play this in singleplayer mode and it working etc? I just want the feeling of being the only person in the world when playing this.

Aren't we supposed to spawn with a canteen?(Or at least it says that in the wiki) I didn't, now i'm thirsty and cant find any soda. Where are the best places to find a canteen?

It used to spawn you with enough stuff. to survive for a day, but now it just spawns you with enough to make it to a city.

Stupid zombies and their bone-breaking karate chops. I was waiting for a zombie to come up the stairs after it spotted me through the second story window. It comes up the stairs and teleports down the hall in front of my face and smacks my leg in half. God dammit, I went an hour crawling around in the dark just for that to happen.

After raging about my phone-incident earlier, I started a fresh life and spawned near Balota. I must've draggged ten, maybe fifteen zombies with me through the village, though only a handful of them followed me all the way to the airfield (Which had fuck-all loot, yay), and I was able to lose them in the control tower :v: Recognizing the scenery, I managed to crudely navigate to a hospital and a few apartment blocks I'd visited before, and I nearly shat myself when I heard a soda can open further up the staircase. I exclaimed "Friendly! Don't shoot!" through my mic on DC, and we actually spelunked around the apartments together for a while. He gave me a blood transfusion, and even helped me find a hunting knife so that I could survive in the wilderness. Name was Knox, a real comrade in this game, if ever I've met one. :v:

Am I a bad person If I sat in the central Fire station tower in Chernogorsk and sniped a couple people because I was just a little POed at the game? I apologize to the tree men I took down yesterday, but the DayZ spawn gods liked my sacrifice and have given me good times. If it helps, the three were just running away from zombies so it was either I got them or the zombies did.

Ugh, the DayZ forums. Why does it have a suggestion board anyway? Rocket said that he'll follow his own ideas. The suggestions forum is pretty much just "Nerf nights to being only 30 mins long plz".

Made it all the way to Grizovski pass, only to see a helicopter take off half a click in front of me, along with all the guys and gear they had.
