Or, when I do, I play sensibly and always carry at least one morphine injector on me. Had a big decision to make last night at the Stary military camp: MP5SD6 vs AKM. After some frantic thinking I stuck with the AKM. MP5 lacks stopping power; if I use it PvP - if the guy is alone it doesn't matter if I'm loud or not, and if he isn't, he'll probably alert his buddies vie voice channel anyway; ammo is scarce; not good at middle/long distance. The AKM lacks modern optics but its stopping power owns. Then I found an M14 which takes the same power with better optics. But hey, how I wish I could use a submachine gun as a sidearm like in some S.T.A.L.K.E.R. mods.

I suppose it's classed as a machine pistol though.[/QUOTE] I've used it, it's honestly not that bad once you get used to the sights. It does as much damage as the Glock, but takes so many mags that I call it the Whore; it'll take M9, G17, MP5, and PDW magazines. It's not particularly accurate on full auto, but in my opinion it makes a great backup weapon for a dedicated sniper.
