E: and yes this is almost like 4chan imo
No it is not and youre p. dumb if you actually think that.
goddamnit
this is awful, not because you are bandits, but because this picture is awful and your post is awful
If you're exploring Cherno's apartments and you find a Czech backpack with either a revolver or an M1911 in it, you can thank me later.
Found this a while ago, was really helpful. Cheers, man. :v:
I'm positive that it was a ddos attack. It has been done before and you can easily spot it, voice started lagging badly, everyone timed out and even restarting the server didn't help. But it's back up now. E: and yes this is almost like 4chan imo
facepunch is nothing like 4chan there's some people who come from there but they either a: get banned or b: get their shit together [editline]28th June 2012[/editline] also just because something fucks up doesn't mean it's a ddos attack
Found this a while ago, was really helpful. Cheers, man. :v:
Hood got yo' back, from beyond the grave, homie.
Gonna take a break from this game for a while, the community is just fucking garbage. I made it to starry sobyr completely unarmed without getting eaten, I start to rummage through the tents, I leave the first one (found nothing but a bandage) and I get sniped. Enjoy the flashlight dip shit.
lol who goes to Stary with nothing? if I saw someone at Stary I would automatically assume they had a weapon, always better to be safe then sorry.
I went in to elec and every. fucking. building was barbwired, every warehouse, every fire station, even the church and grocery store were fucking barbwired. I gave up and immediately ran to sobyr stopping by a house for some food and soda.

try to install OA beta patch 'wrong cd key' error help plz
try to install OA beta patch 'wrong cd key' error help plz
I had that and it stopped after (I think) I ran both OA and ArmA 2.
Oh that sucks, I find elektro to be pretty bad for loot anyways, Chenarus or Berezino I find have MUCH better loot and better to start
I figured cherno would be just as bad so I was going to sobyr then the airfield to see if I could at least find a handgun. No such luck obviously. People who play this game are just dicks.
Dear survivor who blocked the military tents in Chernogorsk with barbed wire: Joke's on you, the loot can still be grabbed through the mosquito net with ease. :v: [editline]28th June 2012[/editline] On another note, I left an Assault Pack with an M1014 somewhere in Elektrozavodsk, I hope it serves its finder as well as it has served me.
try to install OA beta patch 'wrong cd key' error help plz
Like dogmachines said, try running both Arma2 and Operation Arrowhead as administrator and that should fix it.
Spawned in the firestation at Elektro with 2000 blood. I was trying to make it back into the forest to meet up with my friends got blood packs, lots of food, M16A2 with 5 mags, G17 with just as many Crawling out of the firestation, i look at him with my head he's been watching me the whole time we look at each other for a couple seconds and he shoots me dead with a revolver lol
You've just got to find the right pack to run with, dog. my automerge
I have a pack of people to run with, but I died last night because of some prick who barb wired a house and I got eaten because a zombie heard me crawling through dirt from 7 miles away when my group logged off for the night. This game is just too twitchy and too full of ass holes.
Is anyone near Staroye with a bloodpack? I'm at 4k blood and it's hard playing like this :smith:
i dunno man i didnt find any nvgs on your body
you still huntin fpers?
you still huntin fpers?
i was never hunting fpers specifically, i shoot anything that moves
We were camping in elektro fire-station (the southern one) with total of 4 players. Suddenly i spot someone in the second fire station. He is looting the place but i can't shoot yet. He ran outside and we shot the dude 2 times, with DMR and CZ550, he started bleeding like hell and ran away. We spotted him at the hill east from the fire station, shoot more and he starts to bleed again. ~5 minute silence, and then we hear someone climbing up the ladders. He gets up and shoots 2 of us with lee enfield. He dies and our teammates die too. Suddenly teammates respawn, even tough they saw "you are dead" screen. The killer spawns but dies instantly and we escape. And here is the killer. (Huge image warning)

how did he manage to shoot 2 people when you heard him climbing up the ladders how did you manage not to kill him with 2 bullets from CZ and DMR
how did he manage to shoot 2 people when you heard him climbing up the ladders how did you manage not to kill him with 2 bullets from CZ and DMR
Yeah we heard him but somehow we didn't have enough time to react. And i have no idea how he survived the shots. :v:
I shot a guy who dc'd and reconnected, apparently it was friendly fire and stated I killed him in the bottom left. "the fuck" I thought mindfully. Then he spawned again with a completely new body. so I shot him again and got my kill. There were two corpses on the ground, shit was weird.
After quite a few discussions and videos of the mod, a friend and I decided to buy Combined Operations and give it a go. Everything went just fine and we were both surprised by how smoothly the mod was installed and how many threads we found for every single error message we got. I figured that having all your issues resolved within a minute is quite impressive and so I assumed this was a great sign for potential in the design of what awaited us. I. Was. Wrong. If someone can point me in the right direction, I'd happily listen and start the game again. However, you're going to have to have an explanation on how to quickly find the people you'd like to play with after you've spawned. Running for 30 minutes to up to an hour results, most of the time, in you finding the other person but gets you just as many zombies chasing you as minutes have passed. The mere idea of crawling the same distance and caring about how close you're to the surrounding zombies gives me nightmares. The concept of the mod, as I've interpreted it, appeals to me a lot. The videos are highly interesting and the gameplay seems incredibly enjoyable. My only complaint is how surpisingly and mind-boggingly tedious it is to group up with other players as a newcomer.

Just play more. Can't really offer any more advice than that.

Usually crouch-running is a relatively speedy/stealthy alternative to full-on sprinting. Usually the most crowded areas can be avoided without adding more than five minutes to your travel. If you have to go through a crowded area, just hug the walls, look around every now and then, and, oh I don't know - Don't sprint down an open street in a zombie-infested city? Finding each other: Again, not too hard when you know what to do. First off, take note of the name of your spawnpoint. Second, look for landmarks. Mountains, lighthouses, cranes and docks, etc. Just knowing if you're on the south-western or the north-eastern stretch of the coast is enough to meet up - Just go in each others' general direction and try to meet near easy-to-spot landmarks.
