DayZ Mod - Crawling Simulator 2012 Dammit rocket what did you break this time? - Games

I hacked someone to bits with an Axe in the Cherno Apartments for their Beans on US133(I actually almost starved to death - food indicator was flashing). Sorry to whoever that was.

I found an FN FAL ANPV S4 the other day, and I'm really debating whether or not I should keep it. Right now I have it in my backpack, taking up 10 god damn slots, plus another 2 for the FAL mags, while I found a standard M16A2 this morning, which I'm now using as my primary. I somewhat want to hang onto it, just because it is the rarest weapon in DayZ, but right now it's useless to me since I don't have NVGs. It'd be a beautiful weapon for someone with NVGs, but without them it's somewhat useless. So just inquiring, would anyone be willing to trade something for a FN FAL ANPV S4 and two mags? It seems like a real shame to just drop this on the ground somewhere, so if anyone has any interest in this, feel free to drop me a PM. If there's no interest within 24 hours or so, I'll probably just go poke it in this random tent belonging to some guy on another server, that I kind of "share" with the guy. (Although I don't think he has noticed this yet.)

If we could setup a safe zone that would be cool, I think Reddit tried that but failed horribly.

Who wants some mountain dew? I was scrounging around Elektro for start-of-character things and I happened to chance upon it. Since I have a habit of dying often anyway, some veteran can have it. Arent the crash sites random around a specific location? So there isn't actually any predefined sites..?

Some guy started shooting at me while I was in the middle of the airstrip/grass portion when I was moving from the northern barracks to the southern one and missed. I ended up at the treeline and went around them, then hid behind one of those small stone barricades. Three guys walked RIGHT past me in my ghillie suit and didn't notice me. I stood up from behind the barricade and put on my full auto, and killed one of them immediately. I went back to hiding and the other guy was bandaging himself, and I killed him too. The guy with the best gun (looks like an AS-50) disconnected. That's why you don't open fire on a someone who is friendly. :) I already had the loot they had, so I gave my friend their M4A1 SD. Someone else had a DMR but it glitched out and he was only able to keep the M4.

I have DL'ed the latest beta update, and swapped the exe from beta to OA, but I still can't join the FP server. What did I do wrong? I can join any other server, except for the FP one :V
