Im sure you know how backpacks are kind of glitchy, and if you try to put a gun in while you dont have space, the gun just gets deleted?
Well, I have a gun in my backpack, and I have a gun in primary slot. If I just take the other gun out, will it swap with my other one? Delete it? or what? Its annoying having to drop a gun, then get out other one, then pick up first gun + its ammo.

yes it will swap, though if the gun you are trying to swap is too big to put it, it will disappear.
Buildings are my worst enemy now; I got all items I needed to survive for a while (hatchet, crossbow, magazines for when I find pistols, food, drinks, etc...) when I spawned in Elektro, then I hear another player near me firing his gun so I run into a building and find out it's loaded with stuff, so I'm in there a good while sorting through it all deciding what I should take and what I should drop, but then a huge group of zombies find me in there and they do a house raid on me. They even attacked me through the walls, and once I cleared most of the zombies with my crossbow and then hatchet, I get killed through the floor by one of the stragglers before I could bandage myself.
I'm definitely liking DayZ more than I did before, when I first played this mod a while ago I'd spawn so far away from everything and playing would be more of a hassle than an enjoyment.

you have to have luck, wit, and a toolbox. The majority of the time the barbwire is placed so poorly the hitbox for it where you can actually select to remove it is stuck in the floor, so it's there forever. It's a broken feature.
Bobie and I were on the outskirts of the airfield scouting it, when all of a sudden a guy in a ghillie suit underneath a tree kills him. I franticly run off, come back, shoot him in the face and he disappears.
Fuck that guy.

I think I just experienced the alternate universe version of that.
I log on, and as SOON AS I SPAWN, I see a guy in a ghillie suit running away from the airfield and down over the fields nearby. He's being chased by two dudes with pistols, who stop and start shooting at him, start running again, and eventually they all go run down over the hill while I'm kind of there just :v:
It was legitimately such a perfect scene, I'm pretty sure it had to be some dudes filming machinima or some shit like that.

Why would you post your location..? You can search players via gametracker if the server is listed so you're exposed either way.

There aren't that many vehicles to begin with sadly.
Is this game decently playable yet?
I tried it in May but it was so hard to get into a day server I just kind of gave up and decided to wait until it was easier to get in to.

50 spawn, but people hoard them in the first few days because of set spawns. Some servers have local DB's setup, they add tons of vehicles which I kind of wish Rocket would do.

Well server is 60/60 but you can try.
The server is lagging to fuck, I lost a motorbike because I teleported over 2km away, and when a friend found it he couldn't get on it because it was on it's side and you apparently don't have the ability as a human to pick up a bike and get it up the right way...
i'm so alone, i've been wandering around so long i crossed the end of the map and haven't found a single person who wasn't a zombie :(
In lieu of FP's server being full I joined another server, it gave me a gender select prompt even though I was already well into a character (had a ghillie suit, M16, etc. etc. way up near Zub) and I spawned along the coast.
I'm confused as to what the hell just happened, and I'm trying to rejoin the Facepunch server to see if that was just some weird-ass bug.

Thats happened to me before, but it isn't the server because we're having no issues with some S1203 we found, barely any desync.
