So why doesn't blood regenerate over time..? I think it's quite silly we loose blood but can't get it back unless another person uses a blood bag on you. I'm currently floating around 6k blood and don't see a hospital anywhere close to where I am. Is there more than one way of getting blood back or something?

Alot more than beans, pasta etc. I think each cooked meat gives around 800 blood or something. I think I read somewhere that the amount of blood you get back from a cooked meat depends on the animal you kill too.
