Oh my god, I accidentally ran over the ledge of a 3 meter tall steep slope, this made me hover over said slope all the way down where I hit the ground at such a low speed that any human could survive but somehow killed me by breaking my legs and giving me -600 blood. The physics in ARMA 2 completely fucked me in the ass. I had such awesome equipment and so much supplies. I then spawned pretty close by and ran to the exact spot where I died in 30 minutes, my corpse was gone :suicide:
Fucking Hive.
And then I log in and some trigger happy sniper with a DMR in Cherno guns me down Grats on your AKM and M16 =P
Y'know, beartraps are going to be cool as hell as long as they don't spawn as commonly as empty cans. I'm looking at you, barbed wire.
Instead bullshit features like beartraps and enabling zombies running inside buildings, Rocket should add more content like more weapons and a decent plot or missions or whatever to keep the game worth to play after you got all the top-end gear. Besides, barb wire spawns relatively rarely but one signle player having it can crew a whole server because Rocket in all his wisdom made the toolkit one of the rarest items ever.

Not more weapons though, that's hardly called for. More food/medical items, and more every day items that'll come in handy. Like the clock, map, tent, etc. Also, give us Radios, hhhhnnnngggg.
Besides, barb wire spawns relatively rarely but one signle player having it can crew a whole server because Rocket in all his wisdom made the toolkit one of the rarest items ever.
Definitely not rare enough though. Ever since 1.7.1.5, after every new character, I have always found barbed wire before weaponry and/or basic medical supplies. No exceptions.
you just cant handle the sheer REALISM of zig zag zombies
Well if I was a zombie I'd zig zag to avoid dying.
you just cant handle the sheer REALISM of zig zag zombies
That running at 40kmph so real
Well if I was a zombie I'd zig zag to avoid dying.
but then surely you wouldn't be a zombie because you have control over your actions? imma stop before i get so deep i start crying or something
I rather have a little slower less seizure zombies.
Ofcourse we can say whats realistic in a zombie invasion because we've had one before right?
Depends what 'kind' of zombies they're meant to be too.
From the official page: Q: “Barbed wire in buildings wasn’t bad enough? Now we have god damn BEAR TRAPS?” says Gutbuster, who is less impressed with the new feature. “In theory, cool. A new item to enrich gameplay! In reality, bear traps all over the good loot buildings.” Rocket says: “Where’s your sense of adventure?” Q: “Fancy slowing down the animations of the zeds a bit? They’re so fast that it appears jittery. Also making them run directly at you in a straight line instead of zig-zagging would be cool.” Rocket responds: “This will be happening, possibly along with infected running inside buildings." Cool. After Wargaming's fuck-up with 7.4 WoT we have another example of a dev blatantly ignoring what the fans want. Probably after initial success certain devs become impossible to reason with.
Uh yeah because infected DEFINITELY never run inside buildings in popular zombie fiction.... its a bug and I doubt they were ever intended to walk inside. Zombies are pretty much piss easy now anyway.
Uh yeah because infected DEFINITELY never run inside buildings in popular zombie fiction.... its a bug and I doubt they were ever intended to walk inside. Played as a zombie in armory. SO GOD DAMN FAST.
Walked up to a sniper but I didn't have a weapon so he saw me and shot me :(
What the hell, whenever I join a game my guy is instantly passed out.
What the hell, whenever I join a game my guy is instantly passed out.
You logged out in shock after getting shot at (which is why it happens scum)
I would only support running in buildings if they lowered the base running speed to a slightly less insane level (so one could actually hit them on the move) and if they fixed the teleporting through walls
He wants to lower their speed so dont worry. He also wants to make them walk straighter.
You logged out in shock after getting shot at (which is why it happens scum)
Except I didn't? It happens every single time I join a server, I have 10k blood and I'm not in shock or anything.
Except I didn't? It happens every single time I join a server, I have 10k blood and I'm not in shock or anything.
If you log in on top of a loot pile it can spaz out and knock you out/break your bones/kill you If it's not that, then idk
Except I didn't? It happens every single time I join a server, I have 10k blood and I'm not in shock or anything.
I know it happens when your in shock or you were just shot at but if it's not that idk I guess you just got to wait it out, does it happen even if you wait it out or? oh god pageking uhhhhh have them talking about removing tank traps and barbed wire after awhile of it being placed and tents decaying http://dayzmod.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=26982
Also all the zombies shouldn't be faster than the player, or I wouldn't mind varying zombie speeds but at the moment it doesn't make sense for a zombie to run super fast, then stop to hit you (and miss), then run and catch up again. I guess a lot of problems like this are more to do with the engine than the mod so I hope Arma 3 is a lot better in many respects.
Someone on the FP server looted a helo crash, then took off in a tractor, when we went, someone started unloading on us but they were a terrible shot so I made it out alive.
He got my friend though :(
Someone on the FP server looted a helo crash, then took off in a tractor, when we went, someone started unloading on us but they were a terrible shot so I made it out alive.
I didn't loot the heli that's my tractor too, if you find it don't take it please
They should implement something to stop mass eating of food in a short period. What about a slower character as result of spam eating food to regain blood?
I didn't loot the heli that's my tractor too, if you find it don't take it please
Oh, we saw you running up the hill and then heard a tractor leaving, we were gonna shoot you but now we know its you we won't shoot. It seems the people who attacked us only took the 2 antibiotics out of the 3 we had (I had 1 he had 2). But now i have an FN FAL with 2 mags and an M16A2 with 8 STANAGs. Awesome.
He got my friend though :(
I had so much to live for!
