The server kicked me while I was sitting in the Humvee's turret looking about. When I logged back in I was knocked unconsious and bleeding, and now I have 900 blood waiting for my friend.

[img]http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/955011405580735111/C78BE8EA86A4731B5F7FB3ECA99B7A901B5B47D2/[/img] Just went through my Steam Screenshots and found this old one I took by accident, this was like the first week of my playing DayZ I didn't really know anything, some Dutch(?) guy with a thick accent ran into the Balota security room and started begging me to give him a blood transfusion, I had no idea what he has talking about so I grabbed the blood bag he left on the floor, some stuff from his bag and ran away, I just noticed he had an M24, I could have killed him if I noticed at the time but I would have helped him if I knew how, oh the days when people didn't shoot each other on sight then gloat about it

I think helicopters were removed because they caused lag or something. I'm not really sure.

Fucking hell spent around an hour to find something, finally found an m9 and came to a town with some nice church with golden tops and many industry buildings and then someone hit me with a hatchet and while i was pulling out my m9 he did the final blow.

My friend said he found a main rotor assembly. I'm not sure if he actually found one or not, but i cant see why they would spawn helo parts if there aren't helos.

Yea helo parts still spawn but flying ones got removed apparently.

I'm not really sure.[/QUOTE] I think I remember someone saying that they were designed differently to vehicles, for instance a jeep's position is relative to the person driving, if you've ever been in a jeep on a slightly laggy DayZ server you've noticed the jeep go through buildings and walls when actually that's just server lag, it'll then teleport back to where the driver ACTUALLY is on their screen. For helicopters I think I read that the lag makes the pilots plummet to the ground because they don't keep the speed, so instead of staying airborne and moving, they just stop suddenly and fall out of the sky. Of course I just pieced it back together from memory of a post made a few weeks/months back now, probably not right.
