DayZ Mod - Crawling Simulator 2012 Dammit rocket what did you break this time? - Games

Welp, after being alive for almost 40 days I decided to run around doing whatever till I died. After making it over there I couldn't find him so I went into Stary to see if he left anything decent. As I was about to finish my walk through the camp, I get lit up by two guys. One inside the camp and one on the hill outside, I take cover but I get knocked out after getting shot a few times and all I hear from someone's mic was "mwahahahah ahhh yeah YOU LIKE THAT MOTHER FUCKER?" I thought the guy was having a goddamn orgasm after killing me, he seemed pretty excited. Enjoy the gear, whoever you were. Yea no matter what you have at some point you start to lose interest in beeing carefuly and just silently hope to get killed so you can enjoy a fresh new start again.

Plus starting out is so dangerous now. When I started this character we started with revolvers still (or makarov, don't remember) I think.

Well, today was a pretty interesting day. -First time surviving a trip to NWAF. (Been there twice, but never made it out alive) -Found my first tent (Over the course of the day, I found five, they'd all been looted) -Helped a random guy out in Balota. Sadly, my traveling companion of three days passed away in my absence. RIP in peace 5-ever.

God damn it.

So, I've toiled through all of Chernarus to get to that damned International Airfield THRICE, only to get instantly killed without any kind of explanation as to how the hell it even happened. No shot fired, full health, I just die instantly. I've died while inside one of the control towers, surrounded by walls, and out in the open the other two times.

Yesterday when I logged out, I was in the barracks, I joined the game 5 minutes ago, two guys with pistols just staring at me with pistols, shot me before I could do anything cause I had just joined.

Sweet... Finally found a Ghilliesuit at the crash site east of Novy. Had an AS50 there too but I prefer to go silenced when I murder people.

Can you repair crashed helicopters and fly them around? Also, other than Novy, where are they likely to spawn? I've only seen one the entire time I've been playing

So played my first life today, found a barn with a Winchester, picked it up turned around and panicked, bamb! Head shot some poor friendly dead, behind a hay bail are 3 guys panic, 3 guys dead, horde of zombies attack, all dead, walk out no ammo, one zombie, me dead :( Still don't even know how to use a flare or go third person :)

Is it normal for a zombie to chase you for 15 minutes? There were a bunch of others that just stopped following after a bit but I sprinted for about that long and one was still following me, I got to a REALLY thickly wooded area that I assumed was map edge so I started running along it, somehow ended up where I started and didn't find a single enterable building or other player. AI's too smart for me, couldn't even get the hungry bugger to stick to a fence. Thought you were meant to spawn with a pistol also but I heard that's 50/50 for most people. Well I learned how to access the inventory, can't do that while sprinting or being chased. Eventually just let the zed kill me and then I went off because it's 00:30. Enjoyed it though, think I'll find it better when I play with a friend, felt very lonely and I'm not good in situations like that. Will probably try out normal Arma 2 until friends get it set up. Thanks guys, wouldn't have bought it without you.
