Be a real shame if it's true. I've been waiting for it to go on sale, I'm sure it's worth the current price, but I wouldn't be able to put a great deal of time into it.

I'm really considering getting armaII. This thread is always so active, seems like an awesome game. Very tempting.

I finally got shot after surviving 30 days in game. 30 fucking days. I wish I had a screenshot or something, but it's actually not that hard. Have a plan, and survive in the middle of bumblefuck nowhere, AKA the woods. All you need is a map, compass/watch, some sort of weapon to kill animals and a hunting knife to gut them and a hatchet so you can chop wood and matches for making a fire. Also, 1 canteen and a lake. Also I forgot to add, MORPHINE - Especially if you're a nomad. I can't tell you how many times I've broken bones and crawled for miles in the middle of the woods hoping that I'd be near a town with a hospital.

Do tents still despawn after 2 days of their owner's death? If so, can they be saved by using the save option by the one who placed them or by someone else or they will still despawn after 2 days?

So today due to my shitty computer and limited ability to do anything, I decided to hop on a server real quick and loot some barracks, then leave. First moment I pop out of the barracks I'm in, I see someone looking at me and walking. I got scared worse looking at him than fighting with who was my first murder. Disconnected out of there as fast as I could due to frames and couldn't fight. The only reason I'm suprised over how scared I was because my first murder had a good like five seconds to act but stood there, which I didn't feel bad for because I trust almost no one on DayZ except my friend, and I killed him under like 5 fps. I had somewhat ok fps when I found this guy and was scared shitless to shoot him, even though I had the ready to fire advantage.

In AUS 4 I met the bro in some warehouse after a 5 death streak and we decided to raid the Balota Airstrip. We found an AK-47 with 4 mags, M104 with 30+ shells and a M9 with 1 mag. After this we headed into Cherno before the server timed out. Was fun while it lasted.

This game looks so much damn fun. Is it worth $30 to play though? I heard it's bugged up pretty bad.

Man this game is awesome. Me and two friends have constructed a camp outside Cherno, three tents loaded with guns, ammunition, food, medical supplies etc. We go in 2 at a time and clean Cherno, loot every food, medicine etc. because we all have ALICE backpacks so we can carry a lot. We got quite an arsenal hidden away. Also it's on a Custom server so the playerbase is quite small(25 slot server, max at peak) so you know who to watch out for etc.

Oh God DayZ was fun tonight Started out by joining the facepunch server and teaming up with a bunch of facepunchers Got a lot of awesome shit (NVG'S NIGGA) and we even fixed up a Ural and got a group of 6 going After all that, I joined a different server to meet up with my IRL friends, and immediately after loading in, found a bus in working order parked right outside of Chernogorsk stole the fuck out of it, got it refuelled, and found a place to disconnect for the night I don't really expect it to be there when I return, but it was worth it just to get two cars working in one night plus, i still have all my awesome shit
