Anyone got SP DayZ working? I want to mess around and bomb some jets into a bunch of zombies, but Im spawning in the debug forest and I can't spawn anything, anyone got it working?

Oh wow. So 2 friends and I managed to meet up after around 45 minutes of crawling and sneaking. 5 minutes later, some bastard shooots all of us in the face.. Ugh.

Was wondering, what does that broken red chain icon to the right of the screen means when it appears ?

My first life so far: I found an enfield and 20 rounds. I see someone running towards me with a trail of zombies. He manages to lose them in a building, then proceeds to follow me around. He is unarmed, so I do not panic and let him follow me (I don't know where I am going anyway). We loot a building and he gets a crossbow. A few minutes later, we are in a small town and suddenly a zombie runs towards him. I stay crouched and slowly back up - I don't want my Enfield to draw all of them toward us. He's out of bolts for his crossbow. I cowardly run to the hills. One zombie followed me, I kill it when I'm far from the town. I don't know what happened to the guy I abandoned. God I feel so bad now ;_;

Real simple if you want to do it. Our plan was to drive trough Chernogorsk streaming loud from our car, but then the server crashed. Because if the crash we had a hard time relocating our car.

They basically simulate or take the spot of any input you might be getting your mike and BAM, you're playing music crystal clear through your mike. Or, well, ArmaII chat clear.

Had an awesome time in Elektrozavodsk just now. Spawned in the industrial area, ran to the hospital, got a revolver and hatchet, then went for the fire station. I heard lots of gunfire, like a shootout was taking place, so I waited it out in a nearby shed. Once things had cooled down, I went inside and was greeted by three dead bodies, and a friendly that had survived the carnage. We chilled for a bit, and suddenly a third friendly joined us. I decided to leave the little tea party and check the supermarket, after which I met the two friendlies again, checking out the office building together. We parted ways once more, and I decided to head inland, going in direction of the power plant. Suddenly, a bullet whizzed above my head. Then another! Eager to warn the others, I sprinted back towards the office building yelling [I]"Sniper! Sniipeeer!"[/I] over direct communications. Luckily, I reached their range of hearing just in time to warn them, as a single lethal bullet struck my head.

Has anyone else alt tabbed with a gun out, then tabbed back in with their gun full blazing and no muzzle flash going off? I died last night from my friend alt tabbing in, and his gun started unloading. He panicked and looked to see if I was firing and ended up killing me.
