I have ARMA 2 that I got free from greenmangaming a while back. I really want to play DayZ though, so can I buy OA from Steam and will DayZ work fine? I want the full graphics.

People enjoy the game in different ways, some may prefer to create their own enclosed environments in which they play, what's wrong with that as long as they enjoy their experience? I think that the DayZ dev team should allow more flexibility to the players, which will eventually help the mod evolve. I do not understand why there is so much hate and drama related to this matter, it is just a game (mod) that's only in alpha stage and it's free...

Say we decide we want to have some epic scenario-driven campaign but don't want random deathmatchers to get mixed up in everything. I want to have some huge-scale epic faction war or something with zombies as a backdrop for a couple days on the server: Two or three groups of twenty-five or thirty guys each vying for territory and trying to complete player-crafted objectives. Steam is just a way to download it and is not binded to your ArmA2 keys or anything else. Hell, ArmA2 is on Desura and possibly coming to Origin so I think they're trying to stay platform neutral.

That's why I was asking, as maybe his issue of bleeding while coming into contact with barbed wire was similar to the broken legs situation so many others seem to be afflicted with.

Holy hell for some reason I was playing at the totally wrong resolution this entire time. My monitor is 1440x900x32 and I think for some reason my settings put me at like 1280x720. I'm having a hard time adjusting to the size but my performance rates have improved immensely.

I joined a server and my game bugged out: No debug monitor, i couldn't aggro zombies, and i was invisible to players. I ran around for 4 hours just having fun messing around exploring places i always wanted to explore. I could never find a vehicle so i set out to find one just to dick around in for once. I was expecting to lose everything upon joining a new server and i didn't mind, i had so much fun. Sure enough, i join a new server and i still had all of my gear, and everything was working properly, hot damn! Never found a car though. But seriously, it was like as if everyone in the world just disappeared and you could do anything you wanted.

God, I feel terrible murdering people. The first time it was because of theft, but I still felt bad. Second time, there was a guy hanging out, sneaking near our base. I got scared, everyone yelled for me to shoot, so I did. In my head, "Bohemian Rhapsody" began to play.
