Great. If I roll back to 1.7.1.5, I have my old character with the DMR and M4a1 CCO SD, NVG etc. When I go to 1.7.2 and go on the FP server, I have an M16 in Elektro.. I guess its time for a long walk north...

Found two tents on EU40 that for some reason were stuck in each other. Looted them, found 4 blood bags, 4 morphine and some other stuff. Why the fuck do people leave their things in the middle of fields?

Well, I just managed to run from Elektro to Berenzino... I would say its because of the low amount of players currently on. Later on in the day, yes definitely.

Ha, I killed a player. I did not want to :( I was looting the fire station in Cherno, and he comes running towards it with zombies at his tail. I shout "FRIENDLY? FRIENDLY?" over direct before he comes in. He gets inside, and aims his Makarov to me. I could not take the risk, and filled his body with 5.56... Did not want to lose my stuff. I will never know if he intended to shoot me or not, but I don't feel too bad because as soon as I fired he did the same, so he was at the very least ready to open fire. Shit, why can't people use their mic to answer "friendly"? I met a guy at Balota yesterday. I got near the control tower and see a guy with an AKM crouched in front of it. He sees I don't have a weapon and types "friendly?", then tells me there is an 870 I can take inside the tower, and even offers me to take his AKM and give him the shotgun. Nice guy. Oh, there was a dead body inside the tower, so he was a murderer, but eh, murderers are people too. Later, I was running away from Cherno with a friend, and there were about 15 zombies running after us. We were on the beach, and saw someone in the distance. We wondered if we should shoot him, but he didn't have a weapon. So we used him. Unable to join the FP server, says I'm on version 1.60, and the server has 1.60.94700. Exactly what is it that i need to update? The DayZ, OA or ArmA II files?

I finally murdered my first player in cold blood. I'm in an LU server and I just returned from my first successful solo raid of the NW airfield (picked an M24 up for funsies, found an m136 in the south barracks-shame you have to ditch your backpack-) and then was running my tree stand route south of vybor when from Veresnik I spot two helicopters within spitting distance of eachother. Picked clean of course. I took a visit to each twice to make sure I hadn't missed anything (many dead zombies later) and as I get ready to leave I see another survivor leaving the other crash site. So obviously I'm very lucky our paths didn't collide and now his back is to me as he sprints towards my favorite deer stand. Perhaps his eyes are better, maybe he saw something I didn't. What if his pack holds my precious AS .50? I know I won't risk it and the thrill of the kill has eluded me to this day. I range find him at 400 meters and take the m24 out of my pack (glad I decided to take it) and get ready to fire. It desyncs right as I take the first shot. "Oh shit oh shit oh shit" I think as he runs in place and the red chain of death stares me in the eye, while I fire again in the blind hope of saving myself before he can spot me prone near a bush and return fire. The chain disappears and so does the player. "Fuckfuckfuckfuck"- and then lo and behold, I see him IN the stand, apparently completely oblivious to some rather loud bangs and the two rounds missing from my clip (it's not a mag in this case eheh). I range again and find him at 340 meters, so I scope in, aim high at 300, take a breath... -BANG- ... "err..." and then to my relief and great joy he flops over dead. I can see the blood pouring through the floor of the stand as I rush over to inspect my first successful murder. "Scott Harris was killed." flashes in the corner of the screen. I've done it. He's dead. I quickly eliminate the infected opposition at the base of the stand and ascend to my prize. Ah fuck. Alice pack, AKM, makarov, some ammo. Dammit. He did have a can of beans though. And ten minutes later I just found the third crash site.
