Wow, I got into the same server as yesterday. I had put everything in my tent, and now it's empty. Oh well, I went on raiding a nearby city and some deer stands and a factory. The server crashes when I'm in a supermarket (or it may have been a scheduled restart for all I know). I log back in and I'm near my empty tent with the same fucking gear as before. I lost an hour of progress, including a coyote backpack, which I had filled with nice loot, an AKM, various tools, etc. Immediate ragequit.

Anyone wanna team up on the FP server in about 20 min?

On a normal Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead mission, is there somekind of cheat or hack to make it go nighttime? I hope this will work on a server or something, because the server starts at 6:00 AM, so we'll need to wait like 13 hours for it to get dark.

Most missions that are made with nighttime in mind allow you to change starting time.

Are you asking as the host of the server or as a player?

I just found my first crashed helicopter after playing for awhile. It had a silenced gun with no ammo for it and a bunch of cans. I walked a little further to the north and found a second crash! It had an FAL in it and the l85a2 aws. My game wouldn't let me pick up the l85 though for some reason even though i wasn't holding a primary AND I had enough slots to pick it up in my pack too. Settled with the FAL then my game crashed.

I joined the Facepunch server, I then proceeded to loot and get zombie gangraped at the NW airfield. I die and respawn. I'm back where I was when I first joined. It was all a dream...

You can unpack the .pbo files and open it up in the editor, cpbo does that for example. I could also make an small addon for you that does that, but that would have to wait until weekend since I'm not at home right now.

Is there still lots of desync with 1.7.2? If so are there many servers that haven't upgraded to 1.7.2 or have gone back to 1.7.1.5?

That would be nice.

I'm starting to catch on how to play; now instead of assuming everyone will be nice, I just shoot them in the head! It works surprisingly well. :v:

There's a span of 5 or so seconds then you are in-game but can't see or do anything, and if you spawn in front of somebody they tend to shoot during that time.
