I'm considering purchasing Arma 2: CO for Day Z, do you think it is worth it? I've been reading this thread and it sounds like so much fun.

Helicopters have not been reinstated. Ground vehicles are the same as they've always been. But like he said, I wouldn't exactly call DayZ playable at the moment.

Both got axes, we walked kilometres in the deep dark night, suddenly I see a guy and we both run away. Guy catches us, turns out it's a whole group. He's like "get on the ground", they steal our shit. "Where you from?" "Germany" "Well, fuck you then" and he kills me and my brother. Players are such assholes, things like these just want me to go all beserk and kill everyone.

Why can't I regain my health by eating? it just doesn't go up.. I have 1100 blood btw.

Fuck whoever just killed me in Drozhino. Why can't we be best buds man?

During my travels on the outskirts of Elektrozavodsk, I met a nice guy named Woods. Immediately I could tell he was hurt from his exasperated cries, but he was armed to the teeth so I approached cautiously. It turned out he was a good friend and needed some blood. We headed together toward the hospital and had a blood party; right after we were all full of blood, we headed towards the power plant just North of the hospital. I told him where I was going and went for a dead sprint toward it; when I was inside the power plant I began shooting all the zombies that were trailing me. I didn't see Woods anywhere, but I was comforted that there was gunshots outside because I thought he must've decided to hold them off out there, but wait, there was TWO guns firing off outside. "Oh god, oh god, bandits," I thought. I took a peek outside the firehouse door and immediately get my legs shot off, but I at least identified two enemies. Fortunately for me I fell behind the steel door of the firehouse, and the bandits were far enough away for me to gather my legs together, inject some morphine into them, then bandage them up. I then dashed upstairs and prepared for them to enter. My heart was racing and I was in a panic, but I patiently crouched behind the staircase-- waiting for a head to appear that I can pop. Someone appeared up the stairs walking BACKWARDS, "FUCK" I thought and fired off 3-4 .45 rounds into his chest. While he sprayed his ak like a madman, killing us both. This game is great. :v:

I just walked from the NE airfield to the NW airfield. The server I was playing on restarted and now I'm back at NE. I think that will do for today.

Some fucking prick shot and killed me for my AS50 when me and two friends were leaving Cherno. Just about to log out when the fucking tosser started shooting.

FYI the patch is fucking fucked you shouldent play.. you can't really complain about spawning 4km back as many many times have people said its fucking bugged as fuck.
