If they do oh well one more free slot, but I'm keeping it regardless of the future.
I thought it would be obvious that you'll need a vehicle. The best one would of course be an helicopter.
All those "I need a medevac, NOW!" messages.

No one knows. Forget about accurate and timely info updates. All we get is stupid tweets and Arma sales promotion. And I thought GSC Game World was having bad PR.

All those M107 rounds destroying your face as soon as you touch the ground.
Should cannibalism be a feature?
Should cannibalism be a feature?
Yeah, it should give you more blood than meat but come with a risk of sickness.
Being a medic in DayZ is a frustrating and incredibly rewarding experience. I've doctored the south coast area for a couple days, it's really nice when people you save thank you and offer to watch your back on your way to loot a hospital or your next patient, and it does suck to lose everything when someone decides to shoot you after you've healed them, even if all you have on you is a handgun for protection from zeds and medical supplies. (that's why most medics have a couple tents not far from the zone they cover where they leave their gear and a couple hospitals' worth of supplies. still not much of a loss if someone discovers it.)
2 weeks untill im back. I hope its better when i come back.
i'm the western bandit irl

Are you on right now? I'm kind of in need of aid
Whoever tried to ambush me in the Elektro apartments, I was friendly, and I didn't want to kill you, but I desperately need food because I've got like 2k health and no one I trust to bloodbag me is awake
I would have asked you but your Enfield seemed to have other plans
That was _Axel, he heard you eating and someone shooting :v:
Thinking to start the "Walker movement" (people who carry no weaponry)
Not quite sure who's tents these are but theirs about 6 of them near Zelen I think. Don't have GPS.
Tents were empty.

Sorry, I was locked in that building and heard gunshots and death screams, so I assumed it was your doing when I heard you eat and come up the stairs. I would have said "friendly" but that would have ruined the element of surprise in case you were hostile.
That was a shame too, if I knew that I could have transfused you. As you may have seen I had two blood bags :(
It was not a big deal though. Desync issue made me take an earlier save :v:

I'd be glad to organize with you and like, be your bodyguard or something.

And what do they do then?

That'd be awesome. I'd love some cover or something.
Can't play until way later today, tho. Is the new update still unstable?

Apparently.
I'm not sure if I'll be able to play today though, it's uncertain.
Who attacked me and my friend at Stary Sobor inside that big-ass building? Anyway, thanks for the bandages and the useless m16 you dropped. Shame we didn't get to study the body :(

that happened to me a few times
I just leave and join a different server and it normally fixes it
vanilla arma 2 (and by extension: dayz) has some realism issues that are bothering me and I hope rocket will change them in the future:
1. weapon reports. The default sounds travel a pathetically low distance and/or are inconsistent in how far they travel. I've had friends shoot their pistol off like 100m away in a town to let me know where they are, and i haven't heard shit. Similarly you should be able to hear a rifle firefight in a town from a good distance away. You don't hear shit most of the time.
2. Weapon accuracy. The default arma values for sway and shake are far too generous. With most weapons there is negligible sway (from a crouched position with a MP5, there is almost none) and this greatly increases in the accuracy in firefights, somewhat unrealistically. On the other hand, with certain weapons the movement while walking is ridiculous and not at all realistic.
3. Suppression (or lack there of). I'm absolutely for the addition of a suppression effect. It doesn't have to be overbearing, but it does have to have some effect. The one in ACE is damn near perfect. When rounds land close to you or pass just by you, there's a slight visual effect (but again, it's not overbearing like the one in project reality is) and your weapon sway/shake increases.
In a perfect world there is no need for a suppression effect because people should take cover when they are under effective fire. However this doesn't really apply in the game world because people don't care about their virtual avatars dieing. The addition of a slight suppression effect will make firefights more realistic (before you cry about turning dayz into deathmatch, realize that the addition of improved suppression fire mechanics basically means people will die less often and people will probably also consider disengaging and moving away more often).
Nope, 4 servers I've tried all the same
I had a Ghillie waiting for the new patch and a FAL, DMR, GPS, NV
I need a rest from this game
Sigh...
To the owner of this tent

The problem is it gets to a point where you're overdoing it and the game becomes incredibly hard, without any sort of fun. Not to mention a lot of what you mentioned could ruin gameplay (If weapon sounds were more realistic there would be a lot more PVP (I like the amount there is currently) because all you would have to do is listen out for gunshots and head in that direction. In addition louder guns means more zombies being attracted - it would get to a point when you have finally killed all the zombies in the huge radius that they have started spawning again.
