Guys, it's a RC, shit [I]can [/I]still go wrong, and you might end up having to reinstall all of ArmA. Waiting a few more dayz won't kill you.
edit: RC = Release Candidate, not a Stable release just yet, but [B]if[/B] everything goes ok, this will be the full update.

I don't care if people say its the freedom off DayZ, but shooting People on sight and not even for gear is unnecesary and only leads to more PvP. DayZ has become a 225 squarekilometer deathmatch zone.

Well, I updated it through siz updater, but haven't joined a server yet because they've all been full.
I guess it doesn't matter then, since they will just issue an old version or the actual 1.7.2.2 on six updater and everyone will be able to update in six updater to it.
So unless going in game with this wrong 1.7.2.2 makes you lose gear or something, it's no big deal. We just have to wait for a fix to be put on six updater.

What if I use six updater, it updates automatically. Can't I just let it do it's thing?
It installed a new Arma patch when it updated, so I might be on 1.61 but I don't know, but I presume that could be the beta rather than the rc?
See and people called me crazy for not playing for awhile when DayZ releases a new patch since something always breaks, who's crazy now mother fuckers
Mmm, I'm pretty certain that people using six updater will have received the 1.61 [B]BETA[/B] patch, [I]not[/I] the RC.
Which means all we need to do it wait for the correct DayZ patch to be placed on the six updater network for us to update to and we will be good to go when the servers have got everything updated.

94700 is your best bet, any more recent patches than that are giving me trouble, such as not being backwards compatible.
