I spawned in on Dayz454, a10 right in front of me with it's wing clipped on a tree. See atv off in the distance, steal it to try to push the a10 so I can fly it. Drove over and hit a bush and backflipped the atv rendering it useless. Then to top it off another guy that just spawned is being chases by a zombie so I tell him to stand in front of the plane and I'll shoot the zombie. Kept shooting the plane's cannon until we both blew up, taking the zombie with us. Best dayz experience ever.

So I'm on my 4th day of survival now. 2 other friends and I were at a deer hunting post right next to an open field, that's near Stary Sobor. We were there for a day or 2, as we were having issues finding a server and getting together all at once. One friend went camping, so me and the other friend decided to go off. Some zombies were at the deer post and it got us bleeding. We had a lot of blood bags so we just decided to get eachother fresh for the journey, we were going to head to Devil's Castle. My friend gives me blood, and not long after he gives me a blood package to get him better he got shot by a sniper and killed. He died a hero. The sniper was going after me next, so after zig zagging up a hill to safety then down the hill, I decide to camp his body for a bit to see if he comes. He never did. So I was all alone, and was scared. In order to keep my friend's honor, I had to travel to Devil's Castle and give him the honor he deserves (and get some loot that I badly needed). I finally get there, and I walk to the top of the tall tower. Surprisingly, nobody was there, and I didn't aggro any zombies nearby. Once at the top, I drop the blood bag he gave me and salute it. After that, I do a 21-gun salute. I leave the blood bag there, for any survivor that might be passing by, it's what he would have wanted. Once again, nobody was there. It was very dark, almost pitch black but I was still able to see. After looting a few buildings in the gigantic place, I loot a few buildings, got an AKM and 3 mags to replace my M16A2, but no food besides a can of pasta. I'm almost starving now, and I could use some matches as I have several raw meats in my backpack. I'm near Lopatino now, and I intend to hit nearby super markets at Vybor and Pustoshka. I hope to find matches and/or food there so I can live a little longer. I'm saving the pasta for when I'll really need it. R.I.P.

Okay, so I needed food bad and was traveling along the coast, at this point I had a few cans of soda, a Lee Enfield and about 20 rounds of ammunition, a ton of Bandages, some Flares and some Red Chemlights, but needed food pretty badly so I followed a church bell to a small town (I don't have much to lose, really). First building I loot, I immediately find matches and a hunting knife, in the shed out back was a hatchet so I immediately think I'm set... that is, until I aggro some zombie through the fence. So I start crouch running, it hits me once so I am already low-ish on blood so I go prone and sit there thinking "well I'm dead", and it de-aggros me after I go prone and I think "God damn, I got so lucky, and I'm set with food forever with this gear". I try to stand up and walk... I go back prone... I have everything a survivor could want... EXCEPT FUNCTIONING LEGS, I'M A GOD DAMNED PARAPLEGIC. My legs are broken and there's not a chance of getting morphine anywhere near me unless I crawl my way along the coast to Elektro or Cherno and get into the hospital that way... not happening. I guess I'm just going to play this character the rest of the way through as the only Paraplegic survivor in Chernarus.

I'm crashing to desktop after connecting to a server. It'll get to 41 KB on the receiving mission file and then it'll just stop working and crash. I'm launching from the beta patch 94876 and using DayZ 1.7.2.3 files. Any idea on what to do?

So many people who shoot you on sight, I killed two of them today for them shooting first. One of them at the airfield, he and his friend unloaded on my friend as I flanked them and when into the fire station and took out a guy who shot at my friend who was wearing a ghillie suit, then his friend came in and took me out since I passed out. Then just a few moments ago went to check the control tower at the Batola airstrip, two guys were there too one of them shot me only one then started shooting the staircase above them so I killed the one shooting then told his friend to leave and back away since I was friendly but he didn't care and shot another friend of mine. But my friend only had a hatchet as the guy who I left alive's friend lost a ton of stuff due to me burrying the body. I don't like how I'm running into survivors more often than I use to.

So 1.7.2.3 fixed the Ghillie bug?
