Just found my first LMG So I've got full survival gear, an M107, and an M249. Now all I need are NVGs and an ATV

Just got Arma 2 yesterday. I followed the guide in the OP to install Day Z and it seemed to work, but I keep getting stuck on "Wait for host" whenever I join a server. Anyone know whats going on?

This game lacks a Mosin Nagant, damnit. You'd think in an Eastern European country, the Nagant would be a bit more prevalent than the Enfield considering so many of the former was produced in that area that you can buy them in bulk for like $50 each. Call me a roleplayer, but I prefer to use the Civillian weapons over the Military weapons to keep the apocalypse survival feeling to the game compared to the generic military-zombie clash FPS feeling.

After "constantly looting" the barracks on some server I concluded that the loot spawning was minimal and poor at best. Until I found a GPS and fucked off into the wilderness and killed some meatless animals.

These should definitely be added. Slinging a flashlight around while running at night provides almost no visibility for you and makes you stick out like a sore thumb. I think there might be a hacker on the server. My inventory is now filled with 6 M249 belts when I only had 3 earlier.

I think only a very select few currently have the right latest version (US 133 for example).
