That'd suck.[/QUOTE] I found an M4 and 2 mags, but I already had an AK. Since I hate the AK and 60 rounds of 5.56 is more valuable than 30 7.62, I grabbed the M4, left the AK. Some guy walked in my building and I shot him, he had an ALICE pack with 5 blood bags, flashlight, wood pile, meds, drinks. Took that shit Oh yeah I also took the AK mag with me and dropped it in the woods

Friend and I were lucky enough to get into the major airfield at the north tip of the map. There were 0 players there at the time, and every single zombie was standing completely still holding an invisible rifle and not moving. There wasn't much stuff we needed, we already found a bunch of food in Kabanino, but I did find an M4A3 with 9 magazines in a lonely tent behind a building. My friend also found a dead body which had an ALICE pack, an M14 Aimpoint, and an AKM. Left everything but the pack.

Hah, I got an AS50 and silenced M4 already. Thanks tents

Does anybody know the length/width of the map grid (when zoomed all the way in)? I figured if I knew that distance I could zero my rifle approximately, by looking at the map.

Am I doing something wrong? My first try with a sniper, I try and take out two guys on a roof attacking my group, I zero in to the proper range, and fire, all 6 of my shots went the correct vertical distance, but they never hit the target even though I was aiming right at them, the bullets just went to the side of them. If they had hit the target they wouldve been torso/neck shots.

I'm having a hard time connecting to the DayZ server (US133); I'm getting a bad version,server rejected error even though I installed, reinstalled, and re-reinstalled the following: Battleye (with dll replacement), RC1 update, and beta update build 94945. Is there something I'm missing or something I've done wrong? Help would be greatly appreciated.

Fuck.[/QUOTE] Me and my friend was looking around a helicopter for ten minutes, we didn't find anything until we noticed an ammo cache nearly INSIDE the rotor (10 SD & 10 regular STANAG), and a FAL just lying pretty much UNDER the helicopter. If I find helicopters on low-populated servers I just pop a road flare when I run off. I'm not sure if I'm helping or fucking it up for looters, but it looks cool.
