it's incredibly easy to do it by hand, download and install this: [url]http://www.gamefront.com/files/21981793/ARMA2OA_Patch_1_61.zip[/url] download and install this: [url]ftp://downloads.bistudio.com/arma2.com/update/beta/ARMA2_OA_Build_94997.zip[/url] go to your OA install directly, rename arma2oa or back it up elsewhere just incase and drag the new exe from extensions/beta to the root directory and then play

Installed both bits, could you reword the last part after the exe? If you're talking about an extensions/beta folder, I see no such thing. And root directory I pfltlbrlbrlb

I been trying to fix arma 2 dayz for 4 hours now. It crashes after the loading screen whit tanks. So im trying one more thing then im gonna give up.

Ok, I downloaded the new exe and replaced the old one, but here's a problem. I tried joining the server, and it said "BattleEye initialization failed". I can't get on now, and it doesn't give that message anymore.

So I've finally caved and decided to upgrade from 94876 to 94997. I installed the beta patch, got the battleye initialization failed message, updated battleye, and now whenever I try to join US133 I just go to 'waiting for host' for a second and then get kicked out back to the server browser with no error message. Anyone have any idea where I fucked up? e: The fact that I skipped the RC patch (94945?) doesn't matter right?

Great, was running around on the server, I think I'm in Elektro or something, but then this "Laura" person runs by me and aggro's 3 zombies on me, says "newb", then runs away, unarmed, completely forgetting the 3 hatchets next to me. My 3 hatchets now.

I've just spent the past six hours straight searching the most remote places on the map for vehicles. I've come up empty.

I keep crashing to desktop after the loading screen whit the tanks because of BEClient.dll I been trying 5 hours to fix this now.

So i'm walking near Cherno then all of a sudden I hear the Stalker bandit radio song come up in Direct communications followed by a bus. He starts honking so I rush over and get onto his bus filled with other survivors. Bus driver was a p. cool guy, turns out he's from SA forums.

Just got Arma and DayZ, wanted to get in the mumble because I'm trapped and scared, want somebody to team up with. It says I was denied enter priveleges for the channel with the most people. Im in the top of a crane and theres a zombie at the bottom watching me and moaning oh god halp

So i haven't been playing DayZ for quite a while. What should i update to be able to play again? (I'm not using Sixx)
