I will not use a flashlight because it will get me spotted. If it sounds like I'm running over a road, I stop, and turn on the light for second to check. Just install the beta as usual, then overwrite the .exe in the main directory with the one in expansion/beta.

been playing more actively, running through towns got lucky found aksu then next floor found aks with kobra ran around with that killing 30 zombies before running out of ammo, luckily i found a revolver on my search and a bunch of heat pads and flares for when i play with my co-workers. Sadly have 5k blood left.

I was literally running town to town searching anything to find food and water, all i could find my first day was car parts and ended witht he aksu and aks. Today revolver and a bunch of medical stuff plus a fuckton of ammo for other guns i didn't have then managed to score a can of pasta then a pepsi and another can of pasta for when i need it.

Going to try and figure out what town im nearby in the editor so i can play with my co-workers try to get a blood packet to do a transfusion or something. I haven't ran into anyone yet or got close to so. Then again i've stayed away from all the big citys just cause i don't feel like getting shot randomly. I have a feeling all the cool peeps don't go to big cities either

Really you mean a sling, your pistol is basically in a holster since it doesn't take up inventory or backpack space.
