Found that special place on the barbed wire that kaukassus was talking about, someone actually went out of their way to place more than [B][I]10[/I][/B] barbed wires inside of one another, I was still removing them when I heard a shot really close to me, just outside where I was working, then I ran and hid.

Well that was a shitty last 3 spawns got crippled by a bush got axed to death within a few minutes of spawning then got shot in the face after 10~ minutes

Me and two other buddies went to Pobeda dam with our vehicles, suddenly we hear gunfire from the barn near the dam, so we get on the ridge and open fire suddenly a fucking land rover goes past us and guns blazing everywhere, I get hit and bandage myself up, taking fire from behind us and from the barn, I rush back to the bike, tell my buddies to run / hide and go at fucking blazing speed through the field past one of them while getting shot at, then I find another bike and check up with my buddies, turned out they were fine, although the tractor and everything in it was destroyed this game

Well, that was one of the most productive DayZ sessions I've had, yet it started out with everything going perfectly wrong. I was down in Factory, hunting for parts and waiting for my friend to arrive so that he can help carry car parts, since we found a car just east of Old Fields that was waiting there for [i]us[/i] to come along. So we get all the parts we need, including a toolkit, and make the long journey back to the UAZ... [b]but then it was gone.[/b] With disappointment in our hearts, we head back to our tent in Old Fields and decide that our next course of action should be to find a car on another server and try to migrate, since a lot of stuff in our tent was useful. Just as we decide to head off to hunt for some food (since our supplies of cooked meat had dried up), guess what we hear? [i]Honk honk![/i], followed by a dust trail not fifty metres from us! My friend, with his AKM, and me with my M249 and ghillie suit, decide to chase after them. To our amazing luck, they decided to stop right near us to check out a deer stand. We hear the distant shots of them killing zeds, so decide to sneak up while their backs are turned. I get nice and close, about 20 metres away, prone in the grass, while my friend watches my flank. I spy two vehicles; a white off-road, and the UAZ that is almost certainly ours. The driver of the off-road stood no chance: I put a round in his head, but I didn't know where the other guy was until I'd killed off the first. So, with my nerves shaking terribly, I go into crouch and empty about 25 shots at the second guy who had just shown up and started looking around. None hit, because I've lost the ability to aim, and he manages to land a shot on me just as I strafe his body with 3-4 aimed shots. Sadly, none of them are headshots, but as my friend later found out, he had an FN FAL that blasted a nice hole in my chest. My buddy, mostly following his instincts, waits a while to see if the dude investigates my body, before heading around to flank the survivor. The survivor made the error of going back to the white car; my friend sneaks up behind him and unloads 30 glorious communist 7.62mm rounds into his back, while I spawn at Elektro, and with the UAZ my friend comes and picks me up. Sadly my corpse had despawned before we could return and manage inventories, but now we both have two cars, fully fueled, and my friend is now quite well equipped with a FAL, GPS, NVGs, etc etc. We move our tent stash into the cars, then bugger off to live another day.
