I've been getting badgered to try this game with some people for weeks. I finally bite the bullet and buy ARMAII. "Oh, they just patched the game to where you spawn without any weapons whatsoever and, most likely, right in the middle of an entire pack of zombies over and over." God damn it. I can't even pick up a god damn rock or something?

I do notice one good thing about the insane difficulty increase; nobody lives long enough to make it to Cherno on most servers I join, so at least I don't have to worry about getting sniped while I run screaming away from a horde of zombies.

oh lol, I just thought of a silly idea Fill your entire inventory (backpack and inventory) with tin cans except for your main weapon. Get some mid tier gun, but no ammo. Go to heavy PvP areas, get shot. Imagine the face of your killer when they only find you carrying 40 tin cans and no good loot.

Got saved by a guy, we went from Cherno supermarket to hospital and back, then we both got shot by a dude at the supermarket. Fun times. Also, FUCK WIRE FENCING.

So how does using a hatchet work now? I don't want to lose my primary weapon, so I'm scared to try and pick a hatchet up. I've read that if I have a primary equipped, the hatchet should go straight to my tool belt. Can anyone confirm that for me?

With a primary, it goes straight to your tool belt. To equip it, you free your primary slot and right click the hatchet. bah ninjas

But we secured it and I have since rearmed with my gear. So we're picking up and moving on.

Nah, I'd call end game getting the right set of equipment to go live in a forest, stocking up ammo from deer stands and hunting for food. That said, does anyone know the best spots to find tents and bicycles? Either one of those would be great, since me and a friend want to start a little camp in Old Fields.

Can you erect barricades and whatnot? It'd be neat to start up a little commune in the middle of nowhere
