How's the hacker situation in us133?

Why are nukes even a scriptable thing in DayZ? Isn't there some way Rocket can completely disable their use?

A ton of things are clientside. I'm sure if he doesn't find a way to solve it, then it will be solved in Arma 3.

Arma II, and Dayz are just a headache, I haven't had the pleasure of enjoying the games, I bought CO, neither the games ran through steam, so I had to run the game through the directory, I launch OA, cause CO won't work, have dayz installed, and play a game, works fine sept when I right click the inventory items nothing pops up to use, so I can't use anything in inventory.

He promptly disconnects, most likely joining another server. I then reposition myself to get a better view of the tent, he spawns up, and kills me before I have time to react.

Whitelisting would be harder to maintain at first until a decent IP pool is set up, but that could take weeks and while those weeks go by, the server loses popularity and we may not even get a decent pool at all. Passwording would be problematic to maintain simply because you either only give the password to a select pool or you find a way to broadcast it which may defeat the purpose of passwording anyway.

He only disconnected AFTER you were dead to get the zombies off of him.

You opened fire on 2 people with no intention of PvP. I was hit a couple times, ran into a tent, and bandaged. Then I went prone. I saw you working your way around via 3rd person, and proned to the far left of the tent. You were prone as well, and you were sliding to the side to try to see in my tent. I was waiting for you to get into my sights, and lit your ass up when you did.

Not to mention you had a BAIT TENT up to bait people.

By the way, thanks for the M4A1 CCO. xxncxx is enjoying it, and I got a new M4A3 CCO as well. Went pretty good considering the tents were being camped.
