I really hope Rocket will come to his senses and allow for passworded servers. You may think a passworded Facepunch server would be boring, but I personally disagree. If people form smaller factions of 10-18 people, you can still have plenty of fights and tension, while remaining safe from the hackers. And discussing faction wars and such here on FP would be a lot of fun too. Every faction could have a home town, or just keep moving around, setting up many glorious Camp Autism's and murdering other faction folks. But alas, wishful thinking, I fear.

Awesome... Spawned in the middle of nowhere somewhere outside the map in the middle of the night, started running and got hosed down by someone with nvgs... Lost coyote bp, bizon sd with mags, l85 avs with mags, gps and range finders... Fun times in unlucky land.

Such is life in DayZ.

Most farmers will server hop a hell of a lot through mostly empty ones, not just stick to one server.

They would farm gear and then go to a public server and kill people with the best items. It's the only thing to do in this game.
