Time to loot low-population servers until my true love -- the Facepunch server -- is mine again.

Servers up, everythings up. Windows update god damn it.

The one thing I don't quite understand about the game is how your blood will never regenerate even though your body does so in real life. I'm not talking about hide-around-a-corner regen healing, but if you're not bleeding badly, are well fed and hydrated, and otherwise healthy, your body produces blood. Of course, it wouldn't be a quick regeneration, but it would be more realistic and less obnoxious.

So, just asking something: if I already have ARMA 2 (the full one, not the free version), I don't actually need to buy Combined Operations, right? I only need Operation Arrowhead.

Jesus christ shit went intense with the new updates i was at cherno grocery store but my whole backpack was empty somehow ): (alice pack so yeah had a shit load of stuff in) So well, I pick up a few cans and decide to head out... went into an storage building where everyting was fenced up by a player so i head in and see a guy or girl with female skin i tough oh i guess its not dangerous ....then he/she aimed at me but before he/she got the first shot i emptied all my mags into the player sadly he had a weird thing that prevents unconssious so he was standing back again even i empied about 2 mags on him so i reload and repeat,then i bandage myself as i was bleeding, and damm the player had nothing good ): then i decide to go out only to figure i had about 4 zombies on me, decide to run away only to get 15 fucking of them so i had to take my winchester and start shooting at them by when i was done my blood was at 7500 i had no ammo left and i was utterly mad then i rage left

I used to actually sneak around towns and cities, but I found that since you can now lose them, running through places to get what you want is much easier and faster than sneaking around. You just run in a building, wait for them to pile up in the building, and run out the other exit, and start crouch walking away. It's much better.

When you have reached a decent amount of height run back down again and watch zombies run after you but actually dying because they run right out into the air and fall down hard

[B]Quick guide for beginners to make their game good on performance and optimal looking:[/B] set 3d Resolution same as your set screen resolution (Sharper looks) Turn AA off (about 30-50% FPS increase) Turn AF to medium (Terrain in distance and roads look more detailed, costs almost no FPS) To kill some of those sharp edges that no AA gives go to your arma2oa.cfg located in my documents folder and turn "PPAA = 3" and "PPAA level = 3" that activates smaa AA which on medium computers like mine should only take about 1-3 FPS (Smoother looks, better looking overall) Turn the distance the grass and such is seen on low I think on english settings that's called Object detail. (Huge FPS boost and eliminates stutter) For many people old information but I think from seeing as so many people join daily and still seeing screenshots so blurry that this information might be helpful. :smile: Enjoy your Dayz!

First time I went to the airfield, got shot by some guy with a DMR. Lied down in a hanger then BAM.. dead :( Lost AKM with 8 mags and lots of food. Was that one of you who got me on the Facepunch server :)

Man, Berezino always struck me as one of the less busy coastal cities because of how far up north it's located, but I've met 3-4 friendlies there today, and heard lots of gunfire. I think it's astonishingly hard to find vehicles though. I checked a fair number of known vehicle spawns with no luck.

You never find vehicles on purpose.

Kansas 1 is probably your best bet for vehicles. We found two before hacker blues struck Electric Eye and I.

Ok so I apparently always get this "authentication timeout" whenever I try to join a sever, since the latest beta patch :( how can I solve that problem?
