DayZ Mod - Crawling Simulator 2012 Dammit rocket what did you break this time? - Games

I was killed in Elektro when I ran to kill someone with my axe after they killed my buddy, died, spawned in Novy Sobor with the glitched spawn inside of a building, walked to Stary, and found a crashed helicopter right next to the red warehouse with the tents. I picked up a FN FAL and there was a DMR, but I only had my regular coyote patrol pack. I search the tents and found a M24 with three mags and switched my FN FAL with it. I searched the rest of the city and came back to search the tents and found the elite coyote backpack, got the DMR and FN FAL, and left. I got to Prud and saw a helicopter fly over me, before finding my way to Camp Autism. :> All in a few hours of work.

I get really shoddy fps in this game and my system isn't even bad. Has anyone got any tips or tweaks on how to increase my fps?

Has anyone got any tips or tweaks on how to increase my fps?[/QUOTE] Quick guide for beginners to make their game good on performance and optimal looking: set 3d Resolution same as your set screen resolution (Sharper looks) Turn AA off (about 30-50% FPS increase) Turn AF to medium (Terrain in distance and roads look more detailed, costs almost no FPS) To kill some of those sharp edges that no AA gives go to your arma2oa.cfg located in my documents folder and turn "PPAA = 3" and "PPAA level = 3" that activates smaa AA which on medium computers like mine should only take about 1-3 FPS (Smoother looks, better looking overall) Turn the distance the grass and such is seen on low I think on english settings that's called Object detail. (Huge FPS boost and eliminates stutter) For many people old information but I think from seeing as so many people join daily and still seeing screenshots so blurry that this information might be helpful. also defrag your games harddrive, arma 2 really needs your harddrive to be defragged. Turn shadows to high instead of low if your gpu is better than your cpu.

No one seems to be on the coast really, can anyone direct me to the camp? I'd rather put it all in there.

From the videos I've seen of this it looks like it's really difficult to shoot the zombies, they seem to be "warping" to the player. Is this a game issue, lag or something?

My friend and I have been searching for a repairable vehicle of some kind for days and days. We found jack shit. We have checked almost all the spawn locations on the wiki If anyone knows the location/server of a repairable vehicle(or even a repaired vehicle) I would be forever grateful.
