Dwarf Fortress - Mom, why are those Elves eating each other? - Games

The default font is too small :frown: I don't know how to make it bigger without fucking over the resolution and everything. I want the window to be about 1280x800. What do I dooo?

One of my dwarves went berserk once and with a lucky throw took out 4 dwarves at once. :frown:

The current post count thread lock is way too small right now anyway.

The OpenGL is kind of buggy with the mouse for me.. when it's on the menu it works correctly but when it's on the playing field stuff doesn't respond good. Probably because I use Win7.

Hey Thorny could you maybe add a few more mods up there? Anyway, I'm going to go play out my siege. My military tower has successfully managed to hold them off but a few of them are still pestering me.

Since everyone's asking I might as well. I've been playing ever since the very first Facepunch thread on Dwarf Fortress and I love it. Getting really good at it, too.

This game looks pretty awesome, I've played Nethack, Rogue, and Angband before, and I'd like to try this out. Any tips for the new player?

I haven't had time to start a new DF game so I started doing adventure mode some more for shits and giggles. Most recently I had a farmer strip me of a piece if clothing while wrestling and then he bashed me to death with it.
