The one you already have.
Then why is it so slow now?
Wait answer me, which is the best running version now? :saddowns:
40d16 The reason why it might be so slow could be because of any of the following: -You have a shitty processor -Dwarf Fortress doesn't have multi-core support -Your Dwarves have mastered time and space
The reason why it might be so slow could be because of any of the following: -You have a shitty processor -Dwarf Fortress doesn't have multi-core support
It seriously worked much faster on the same processor before, while on bigger map. Now it's really slow
-Your Dwarves have mastered time and space
OSHI-

Just leave the migrants outside till they die, I only accept like 20 dwarfs in my fort because I hate micro managing.
Oh, I see what you mean. Your population just grew substantially. More Dwarves = More CPU usage = Slower game. It happens to everyone.
That's the problem. Even totally fresh settlements start terribly sow. I watch the dwarf after getting the first order of digging out the first hall to slowly move to the destination. When I played before, it was like "Holy shit that's fast"

Fort has good bedrooms now and food and drink. Slowly am getting rid of the stray animal problem.
My wood cutters axe got stolen by a kobold thief, so I made a new one. I designated for him to go cut some trees but he won't get the axe from my stockpile, How can I make him get the axe?
That would be a greate name for a succession fort. Any general interest?
I made a fortre called "UnnameableFail the Rape-Grape of Climaxes", led by the group "The failure of labor".
My fort is simply called "The empire" And its a really succsesful fort at that. [editline]08:43AM[/editline] a human fort
For the empire!
My noble tomb is being engraved after being smoothed. Will post screenshots of fort when done.

Has FP ever ran a bloodline-succesion game?
Damnit I forgot, how to set up the ini to make the game use full 1680x1050 resolution with default letters? I always get it run at 1680x1050 with a small picture in corner.
Don't rule out the catsplosion. Has FP ever ran a bloodline-succesion game?
I don't think we've ever had a successful one, but yeah we've had them before. Usually they just end because someone forgets that they were in it.
Where's Galenus :(.
The fort, Z levels in order.
My woodcutters axe got stolen, so I made a new one.. but how do I make him use it? I esignated for him to cut down some trees but he doesn't seem to want to.
Just started a new fortress
you named it facepunch.... you fortess will die before the year is out.
How I properly channel water from an underground river? I have a small little room for it but I fear that if I do then it's just gonna flood the entire fortress.

And why channel it if you build your fort 1 z level over it you can build a channel down and build a well.
My fort is on the same level as the river, trying to make a pond in my fort.
Made a 9x9x14 smoothed pit in my and iPope's succession fort and decided to call it the rainbow ride. Mainly because it looks like this:
Nice... Anyways my dwarves are starving when they have a ton of raw fish and I built them a kitchen... Any way to get them to cook it?
Build a fishery and get someone with fish dissection to make the fish eatable.
When I order something to be slaughtered, how do I make the dwarves automatically butcher it so the corpse just doesn't sit there and rot?
