I would think the Link fans would want revenge on Gordon because of his victory, so I would expect them to vote Mario along with his fans, which would give him about 165,941 votes, as long as they don't their friends to vote for Mario as well. Then again, I could be off by some.

Mario and Link were in different brackets. If you voted for Link chances are you voted for Mario and the opposite is true due to most voters being fanboys. So the amount of votes Mario had in the semis should be about the same for the finals unless they do some serious campaigning.

Most people who voted placed their votes on all present polls, so it's not like that everybody who lose with Link will now move and Vote for Mario, because he already did it before. Voted for Gordon.
