I'm having a hard time understanding how Parapa the rapa, a football player from some old sports games, Phoenix Wright, Frogger, Ryu, Sackboy (I don't really know much about him so maybe he is) and bub and bob are heroes. hell, all dig dug did was dig holes. Main Chracters in a game sure, but heroes? Did they just have nominations on the site or did gamespot pick them? cause some of these are shit choices.

Come on guys, really? I don't want to sound like an over obsessive fanboy, but really, you guys should think more about what a hero is. Although I do love the Half Life Series itself as I have Half life one, two, and Orange Box, Gordan Freeman is no way, I think, the best hero. He shows no personality, does what is told, and just fixing puzzles like a robot. Master Chief, I think is the real hero. If you read his books, you know how heroic Master Chief really is, as a battle hardened warrior who lost all the people he knew and love in the war, and gave his life to save mankind!!!!! Thats the sort of hero that should win.

Console Loyalty was the reason Mario, Master Chief, and the rest lost. Gordan Freeman was on PS3-2 Xbox, and PC.
