Aside from that, I have to agree with some parts of the OP. The game has too much of a WoW spin, since a majority of team has worked on Warcraft related games. It needs to start using the original two Diablo as an influence, a reference, rather then Warcraft.

To be honest, out of all they have changed, the art style is the least worrying one. For example the auto-stat placement is, in my opinion, a lot more worrying than the change in art style.
The skeleton king guy does look a lot more like a futuristic cyborg than a demon type monster.
And the color of that little demon is really bright, it would look better imo if they toned down the luminosity a good deal. Color isn't the issue really, diablo 1 and 2 had plenty of color, its just that it wasn't so vibrant and tropical looking, it was more dingy, dark and demonic.
TBQFH, that red demon monster guy looks like a cartoon character from pokemon.
And the skeletons do look kinda lame partially clothed, yea logically it makes sense that a dead body reencarnated would have some of its attire still on it, but when you see those skeletons over and over, wearing the same stuff, it starts to get repetitive. Naked bones doesn't have that issue at all, so you can jus accept them as reanimated bones.

BTW i don't see any similarities between WoW and D3 that are not just as simillar to all the other *this side of 2005* rpg's other than the color pallette, and if that keeps you from playing it, then you're spoiled, picky as hell and needs to accept that the world actually exists OUTSIDE of your own mind too. in the eyes of a gamedeveloper bitching gamers are not worth developing for.

I don't get it, i really don't think any of those monsters from wow and diablo looks very much like eachother. It's almost like saying Warcraft stole the elves from Lord Of The rings or something. And as said, if they look a bit the same it's not going to effect the gameplay experience.
